Celebrating with Sweet Songbird

It’s time for a little Celebrating with Sweet Songbird.
This little bird is so adorable in the Orchid Oasis In Color.

 

Sweet Songbird Bundle, Sweet Songbird Stamp Set, Songbird Builder Punch, 2022-2024 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Paper, Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes Dies, 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dots, Stamp with Peggy


The Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder gives him a fun textured background.
I stamped him with Orchid Oasis ink stamped off and then punched him out with the Songbird Builder Punch.
He is then attached with Dimensionals to the tree branch.
The mat squares were cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
(if you don’t have these, they are a MUST have) and then adhered with points top & bottom (so fun).

This Sweet Songbird Bundle is so fun — at first I didn’t think I needed it
but I’m so glad I changed my mind — just love working with it.

Make a Splash Framed Art

June 21st is the first day of Summer, so I made a Make a Splash Framed Art to celebrate.
The vintage swimsuits from Sunny Splash Stamp Set helped make this piece perfect.

I found a great card made by Cindy Elam and knew this would be perfect
for these tin plaques I found at Dollar Tree.
The plaque has a metal starfish attached on the left side — I cut that off
and covered the spot with the Basic Black mat layer.
Then I was ready to create this fun summer plaque to hang up.

I used the Deckled Rectangle Dies to cut the three pieces of Designer Papers.
The swimsuits were stamped with Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody and Parakeet Party inks,
then I fussy cut them and attached everything with Dimensionals.
