Let’s Celebrate with Sweet Songbird.
The Let’s Celebrate Embossing Folders are new and so much fun.
The Happy Birthday folder was used today to create this simple, adorable card.

I love all the different languages on this embossing folder.
It was embossed with the English Happy Birthday highlighted on the
left side of the Basic White panel.

The bird’s nest was stamped on Soft Suede with Early Espresso ink
and fussy cut and attached to the card front with Dimensionals.
I used the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to color the bird beak.

 

Measurements:

Parakeet Party — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Basic White — 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ — embossed; 2 3/4″ x 4″ for stamping bird; 5/8″ x 1 1/2″ for stamping greeting
Tea Boutique Designer Paper — 1 1/8″ x 5 1/4″
Soft Suede — 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″

He’s the Man One Sheet Wonder

He’s the Man One Sheet Wonder.
This Designer Paper is my favorite paper right now.
I can’t get enough of it.

This card set was made using a 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder Template
and a 6″ x 6″ piece of the He’s the Man Designer Paper.

I added Early Espresso mat layers under all designer paper pieces.
Two sheets of Cajun Craze were used for the 4 card bases.

The next layer is Sahara Sand embossed with the
Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.

There isn’t any stamping on the cards — all decorating is done with the die cuts
from the He’s the Man Designer Paper.

Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots were added to finish each card.

Fun with Something Old & New

Fun with Something Old & New!!
Today’s card uses the something leaving — Symbols of Fortune Designer Paper which is leaving
at the end of the month and it’s on sale 50% off.
Something staying is the Paradise Palms stamp set which carried over from the Spring Mini
Catalog to the Annual Catalog.
Something new is the fabulous Fern 3D Embossing Folder — this will definitely be used a lot.

This Symbols of Fortune Designer Paper print was perfect to go with the Ferns 3D Embossing Folder.
The fern background adds such wonderful texture to the card.
I inked the palm trees using Sponge Dauber with Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow inks.
The Solid Faceted Gems and just a bit of bling to the card.
