Transformed Dollar Tree Camera Frame

Last night’s Facebook Live I transformed a Dollar Tree Camera Frame
into a fun and whimsy frame for your favorite summer photo.

Last August I was shopping at a Dollar Tree and found these camera frames.
They needed a little make over and I decided the Sunny Splash Stamp Set
would be the perfect thing to make this frame adorable.

I started with a package of Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper Assortment.
Mango Melody was nice and bright & cheery so I started with the plaid paper
for the base of the camera.  Coastal Cabana polka paper added a fun contrast strip.

These great vintage swimsuits were stamped in Parakeet Party, Coastal Cabana and
Mango Melody, then fussy cut to add to the front of the camera.

The Cloud Punch was used for a greeting label — I love using punches like this.
Assemble and add your favorite picture — this cutie is my granddaughter!!

Lovely & Lasting Happy Birthday

The Sale-a-Bration Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam Card & Envelope
was a great base for my Lovely & Lasting Happy Birthday card.

 

Go to Greeting Stamp Set, Lovely & Lasting Stamp Set, Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam Cards & Envelopes, Birthday, Stamp with Peggy

 

I inked the flower image from Lovely & Lasting stamp set with Coastal Cabana ink,
then wiped the ink from the stems and leaves.  The stems and leaves were then inked
up with a Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker and the image was stamped on Basic White.
Then the flower image was fussy cut out.

Deckled Rectangles was used to cut Basic White and Pear Pizzazz layers.
The 2021-2022 In Color Opal Rounds added the finishing touch.

Alphabest Bundle with Texture Chic

Today’s card features the awesome Alphabest Bundle with Texture Chic Designer Paper.
The Distressed Gold Paper is perfect with Texture Chic.

I wasn’t sure if I liked the Texture Chic Designer Paper but as I use it, it is amazing to create with.
For this card I used Blushing Bride as the card base with a layer of Basic White under the designer paper.
When I saw the gold dots in the paper, I knew a small amount of the new Distressed Gold Paper would add to those little dots and bring it to life.

The Alphabest Bundle was so fun to play with and gave a fun, soft look to the greeting.
A new punch, Very Best Trio, added a wonderful edge to the fold over panel.
The butterfly, from Meadows Dies, helps keep the little panel closed.
