Adorable Easter Basket with Easter Friends

Adorable Easter Basket with Easter Friends was this week’s Stamp with Peggy FB Live.
This was such a fun project to make.

I saw this project on Pinterest made by Dee Slater and fell in love with this Easter basket.
The bottom of the basket is 3″ x 3 1/2″ so it is large enough to hold plenty of Easter treats.

This adorable chick looks soft and fuzzy — it reminds me of the chicks the Easter Bunny
brought us when I was little.

The back of the basket needed to be decorated too so I cut the Happy Easter stamp apart
so I could stamp them over the top of each other.

 

Measurements:
Cardstock — 8 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 2 5/8″ on all 4 sides
Cardstock — 1″ x 8 1/2″ for handle
Coordinating Cardstock — 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″
Basic White — 2 1/2″ x 5″

Flowering Rain Boots Card Set – Cabin Fever 2022.
Cabin Fever is a fun day long stamp camp.
The highlight of this year’s Cabin Fever was Flowering Rain Boots Stamp Set.
Everyone received this stamp set and two projects were made using it.

 

The first project is this set of 5 cards using parts and pieces from the stamp set.

The colors definitely said Spring to me.

Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder gave a nice floral background for the first card.
I love the vellum circle behind the flowers to help show them off against the background.

The tulips are stamped on a Beautiful Shapes Die,
then I cut a second die from Gorgeous Grape cardstock and cut it in half
and matted it behind the flowers.
This card was cased from one my sister, Tina Rappe, did for a demo event we held in January.

A piece of Adhesive Sheet was used on the Flirty Flamingo piece and
then the diamond die to create the fun background.
It was simple to adhere — just peel the backing from the adhesive sheet and stick down – no messy glue.

I love the dotted background created using the Dots Embossing Folder.
Stitched So Sweetly Dies was used for the greeting label.

The final card used a lot of the stamps and the coordinating Rain Boots Dies
came in very handy to cut out the daisies, flower pots and the boots.
Brushed Brass Butterflies were added to all 5 cards — yes, everyone received a package of those too.

Cactus Cuties Slimline Cards

Cactus Cuties Slimline Cards are the final project from Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.
We made 6 cards to match Slimline Envelopes.

The gift for this project was Faux Sea Glass Shapes to add to the cards.

Some cards are embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder to add texture.

I love the three panels with different cactus in each pot.

For this card, the pots are all fussy cut, then adhered over the stamped cactus.

 

 

Each card has its own special look which I love.

I added lots of ears to this cactus with flowers added to the top.

The final card has fun circles to hold the cactus.

This was a great bundle to work with and was a favorite of everyone at retreat.
