Summer Splash Fun Fold Cards

Summer Splash Fun Fold Cards is our final project for this year’s event.
I love fun fold cards and the Butterfly Kisses Designer Paper helped make these
cards perfect for Summer Splash.

Everyone received a half package of the Butterfly Kisses Designer Paper.
I pre-cut the pieces for their cards and they had lots left to make more cards at home.

The butterfly was fussy cut from the Designer Paper and added to the belly band.

When you slide the belly band off, the card opens to the greeting inside plus another butterfly.

The second card is a Faux Step Card.
This card has lots of butterflies under the greeting with beautiful flowers all around them.

Basic White is added to the back for the greeting plus another fussy cut butterfly.

I believe the third card fold is called a double arrow point — this was a fun one to make.

The Designer Paper on the inside is adhered on the bottom and outside edges.
No adhesive is added to the diagonal edge in the center so a gift card or money can be added.

The final card looks like a regular card until you open the card.

Once opened, you get a sneak peek with the fussy cut butterfly on circles.

Open the card up all the way to see the greeting and panel of designer paper.

Summer Splash – Fun with Hippos

Summer Splash – Fun with Hippos was the third project everyone made.
Everyone received the Hippest Hippos stamp set in their Summer Splash bag
that was used to make an adorable Summer framed art piece.

We made three panels using each of the hippos.
The background of each panel was embossed with the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder.
It looks like water bubbles giving a great texture.

The first panel had a palm tree and a boat with some grass and flowers.

Lots of waves on the second panel.  I love the sunglasses and umbrella.
The cloud punch was used on the first and second panel for the greeting.

The hippo in the third panel is ready to go swimming.
He has goggles and an air breathing tube and is splashing water out of the tub.
There is even a beach ball for him to play with.

All three panels are added to a wood frame I found at Michael’s.
Such a great piece to hang for summer.

Everyone received the frame and Glossy Dots Assortment to add a little bling to each panel.

Summer Splash 2022 — Nature’s Print Cards Gift Box

I’m back with the second project from Summer Splash 2022 — Nature’s Print Cards Gift Box.
We made 4 gorgeous cards using the Nature’s Print Bundle but not with the Designer Paper.
For this project I wanted a softer more elegant look for the cards and gift box.
I used Blushing Bride and Gray Granite which I think turned out so pretty.

There is lots of embossing and die cutting on this project.
Each card had an embossed layer using Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

Everyone received a quarter of a roll of the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon
and Iridescent Pearls to add a little bling the cards.

 


The greetings are stamped on circles from Stylish Shapes Dies or the
label dies that is part of the Natural Prints Dies.

 


Each card progressed to more flowers and stems which added a lot of depth to the cards.

 


The final card was filled full of flowers and stems.
I love how each card turned out.
Then we made a beautiful box to hold the cards and envelopes.

I love the new Elegant Eucalyptus embossing folder that was used on the lid.
The Quartrefoil Tile Embossing Folder decorated the front and back of the box.
