Stampin’ Sisters Retreat 2021 – Project 1

For our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat first project we used the
Friendly Flamingo Bundle for some tropical cards.

We made 6 flamingo cards using Flirty Flamingo card stock — perfect color, right!!!
I had a great time working with bundle.
The Matte Black Dots were added for the flamingo eyes.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat 2021

Our 15th Stampin’ Sisters Retreat is over.
We had a wonderful weekend together though not the same as usual.
Because of Covid-19 we could not gather together in person so instead we did
Zoom sessions for each project.

This year it was Stampin’ Sisters Retreat in a Box.
We put sprinkle tissue paper around all of the supplies and
closed it up with an adorable sticker.

When they opened the tissue paper they found all of the projects for the weekend
plus lots of extra goodies and fun treats!!

They received packets of supplies for 8 projects.
Over the weekend they made 37 cards, 1 framed art, 1 scrapbook in a box and a mini jewelry box.

The gifts they received were two stamp sets, a set of dies, designer paper,
Blending Brushes, Tear & Tape, Matte Black Dots, Opal Rounds,
In Color Enamel Dots, 3 rolls of ribbon, Stampin’ Blends,
Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals and a frame.

Of course everyone needs chocolate when they stamp and
what better way to decorate a peanut butter cup than in a popsicle box.

They also received an ice cream cone cookie that my sister Tina made.
Then of course the cookie must be inside a box decorated with ice cream cones.

One more treat gift — a Culver’s Gift Card so they could purchase some ice cream!!!
This little envelope is decorated so cute.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat 2021 Begins Tonight!!!

For those who have been following me for a while, you know that
my sister, Tina Rappe, and I hold a yearly stamping retreat weekend
know as Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.
Well, in just a few short hours we will begin our 15th Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.
This year looks a little different because of Covid.

We can’t gather together or get a group photo like in years past — here is last year’s picture.
This year we are doing our retreat by Zoom.
We mailed out 98 boxes filled with lots of projects — I can’t give away all of the secrets
yet — some people haven’t opened their boxes but I will be sharing the fun projects
over the next couple of weeks.

Here’s a picture of all the boxes on the loading dock of the post office.

Yes, last weekend was a busy weekend.
Tina and I got together and packages up all these fun goodies.
Now this weekend we get to have some fun with all 98 stampers via Zoom and Facebook!!
It definitely won’t be the same but Covid WILL NOT stop us from having a great time together.
