We’ve been having Team Zoom meetings every 2 weeks.
Part of our meeting is stamping a card.
It is so much fun.
It’s called “Does Yours Look Like Mine”
Our leader sends an email list of items we “bring” to our zoom meeting
and then gives directions without showing her sample.
Once the cards are completed we share how different each cards looks
because we have each used different designer paper, cardstock, stamp set, etc.
Here is the email we received for this meeting.
“Does Yours look like Mine”
At the meeting you will need the following supplies cut to size. I will then describe with general details how to assemble the card without showing you what my card looks like. You’ll follow my directions the way you interpret them using the colors and stamp sets you choose. We’ll then all share our cards to see how unique each one is.
Here’s what you’ll need to have ready:
- Designer paper of choice: 2” x 5”
- Color #1: Card Base that coordinates with DSP: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” & 2 3/4” x 3 3/4”
- Color #2: Another coordinating cardstock: 4” x 5 1/4” embossed with any embossing folder & 2 1/2” x 3 1/2” piece
- Whisper White or Very Vanilla: die cut or punched piece measuring approximately 2-1/2” (you’ll be stamping on this piece)
- Color #2: die cut or punch a piece that’s slightly larger than the Whisper White or Very Vanilla piece. Layering circles, squares or ovals or something similar will work well for this)
- 6” ribbon
- A few rhinestones, pearls or other embellishments
- Any sentiment and ink color
- Any image to fit on the Whisper White or Very Vanilla piece and ink colors (or markers) of your choice
- Adhesive and Dimensionals
I LOVE how this card turned out.
It reminds me of my sister and I.
Some of these items are retiring and I’m going to miss them — they have been great to work with.
