Peaceful Poppy One Sheet Wonder

One Sheet Wonders have been a big hit with my stampers.
I decided the Peaceful Poppies Designer Paper would make gorgeous cards using a
One Sheet Wonder Template.
This is one of the optional classes from my Creative Escape with Peggy.
Everyone received a package of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Paper
and a package of Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.
I started with this One Sheet Wonder Template from Jessica Taylor.
Next I chose a sheet of paper from the Peaceful Poppies Designer Paper pack
and started cutting following the template.

 

One Sheet Wonder Cards, Peaceful Moments Stamp Set, Peaceful Poppies Designer Paper, Creative Escape with Peggy, Stamp with PeggyOnce I had all the designer paper cut and piled I started cutting mats for my cards.
I stuck with Poppy Parade, Basic Black and Whisper White to coordinate with the paper I chose.
We made 10 large cards and 3 small note cards from one sheet of designer paper — awesome!!!

Here are the first four cards (A & B)

These four cards are “C” on the template.

These three cards are the smaller note cards and use “D” on the template

The final two cards use “E” and “F” on the template.

I used several dies for the greetings on the cards.
Everyone loved how these turned out.
It was fun to see the end results as some used a different piece of designer paper.
There are so many different variations you can make.

Country Club Sending You Thoughts Cards

Last weekend at my Creative Escape with Peggy mini retreat one of the make & takes was a masculine card set using the Country Club Designer Paper and the Sale-a-Bration Sending You Thoughts stamp set.  Masculine cards can be difficult to design but this designer paper make wonderful cards using either side of the paper.  I used the argyle patterns for these cards.  Everyone received the designer paper and the Country Club Twine Combo Pack.

Happy Valentine’s Day

I want to wish you all a Very Happy Valentine’s Day!!
It is a day of love but not just for a spouse, children or significant other.
I think it’s a day of love for friends too.
It’s a great day to tell everyone how important they are to you.

I have a card we made at my Scrap & Go Club earlier this month.
I just love the piece of From My Heart designer paper.
We stamped the Happy Valentine’s Day with Real Red ink, stamped dotted
outline with Memento and punch out  with the Heart Punch Pack.
The beautiful Real Red ribbon is wonderful to work with.

Then Wednesday night was my Scrap & Go Club.
We make pages for each month of the year – the album makes a fabulous gift.

We used the special Sale-a-Bration Host Stamp Set – Little Ladybug.
There is a coordinating die stamp set – Ladybug Dies to help cut those little cuties out.
