March Scrapbook Pages

Today I’m taking a little break from Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.
Since today is St. Patrick’s Day I wanted to share my Scrap & Go Club pages with you.
I stuck with a green theme but not too many shamrocks and no “real” leprechauns,
the animals can do the job this time.

I started with 12″ x 12″ Whisper White cardstock for my pages.
I went looking for a green designer paper and found my package of
Garden Lane Paper — it was perfect for my March pages.
I added Garden Green cardstock for photo mats and layering.
Now what to stamp……..
The Special Someone stamp set worked great.
The raccoon holds a 5 leaf clover (really a flower) and then a few clovers are scattered.
I added some poppies and colored them with a Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends — more clovers.

 


Now on to the second page.
I turned things 90 degrees for a little different look.
This time the squirrel is holding a shamrock balloon — don’t you love it.
A few more poppies and butterflies at the bottom and these pages are ready for pictures.

Honey Bee Squash Album

We now move on to Project 4 from our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.
Oh the fun we had with this project.
Fourteen years ago when Tina and I started our retreat, we made a squash album.
After things were folded and glued together, we held the album up over our heads for everyone to see.
The room burst into laughter and said we looked like the “flying nun”.
Those that had attended our retreat every year have been asking when we were doing the
“flying nun” album again.  We decided that our 14th year was a great time to do it
and the Honey Bee Bundle was the choice I made when designing the project.

Project 3 – Heirloom Poppy Cards

It’s Saturday morning at Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.
The Stampin’ elves came overnight and left a little gift for everyone.

This adorable “cup” will hold all your essential tools like snail, scissors, bone folder, markers, etc.
When you are done working, the top portion pull up to extend the cup and you zip all your tools inside.
You can even clip it on to your Stampin’ Tote so everything is handy.

When I saw these buffalo check Colorstreet nail adhesives I knew I had to have them
for our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat — I mean with a Buffalo Check theme, why not add your nails to the fun.

Once everyone was ready to settle in, we started on the third project.
I love this project featuring the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folder.

The Seaside Spray and Gray Granite color combo is stunning.
Flowers from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set ware gorgeous colored with Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends.

We covered all occasions with this card set.
The Subtle Embossing Folder added wonderful texture to each card.
Oval and rectangle frames were cut and embossed with the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folder.
This was such a beautiful addition to each card.

Everyone received the White Metallic Edge Ribbon and used Stampin’ Blends to color the ribbon so it coordinated with the card.  I just love having ribbon to match my projects.
