Wrapped in Plaid Present Card

I have another Wrapped in Plaid card for you today.  The previous ones focused on the Pine Tree Punch.  This card focuses on the designer paper as the ribbon on a Christmas gift.  The Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder made great “wrapping” paper.

I used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch to make the gift tag for the card.  It gives such a nice edge and adds the hole for the ribbon.  The Trio of Tags Die has the adorable little snowflakes that I cut from Gold Foil Sheets.  This card is quick and easy but I love how it turned out.

Wrapped in Plaid Christmas Cheer

Can you tell I’m loving the Wrapped in Plaid Suite?  This color combination kind of surprised me but it is definitely a winner.  I love the gold lines in the designer paper, don’t you?

Wrapped in Plaid Circle of Trees

I absolutely love the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Paper and the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and Punch.  I had a blast designing these cards.  My sister, Tina Rappe, used this layout recently and I love the look so I cased it for my class.

Don’t you love the designer paper trees — they give the card a fun whimsical look.  The Winter Knit 3-D Embossing Folder adds some great texture to the card along with the Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Stripe Ribbon.
