Stampin’ Sisters Retreat – Bloom by Bloom Card Set

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat final project was the Bloom by Bloom Card Set.  This was a set of 8 cards using the Bloom by Bloom stamp set, Happiness Blooms Designer Paper and Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.  I love the way this group of cards turned out.  Tina designed this set of cards using four different layouts.  One card was portrait and the other was landscape.  I love how completely different they look — so fun.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat – Amazing Life Card Set

We finished Saturday’s project with the Amazing Life Card Set.  What a fun project this was — all five cards had the same layout featuring the Gingham Gala Designer Paper and the Amazing Life Stamp Set.

I love all the fun colors and the fun fold.

The flower was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White, colored with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut with Paper Snips.  We added Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins in the lower right corner of each card.

This time three flowers were cut out — one the leaves were cut off.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat – Precious Parcel Desk Set

The Precious Parcel Desk Set was the sixth project at our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.  When the Sale-a-Bration Catalog came out and I saw the Precious Parcel Card Kit I knew I wanted to try something other than cards.  I saw a pencil box someone had made so I started with that first.  Once that was done I thought why not make a whole desk set.  Here’s what I came up with:

Isn’t this adorable!!!  I am really happy with how it turned out.
The boxes put our stampers over the top just a bit but they were very pleased with the end result.

First is the Pencil Box — we folded up the Precious Parcel card and sealed it shut, trim around the post card and tucked both pieces inside the mail slot.  The “stamps” were added with Dimensionals and finally a Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon bow was added with a Glue Dot.

Next we made a drawer box for paper clips or any other desk accessories.
We added a Metallic Brad for the drawer pull.

Don’t you love the Post It Note Holder — so cute.  This one was a bit tricky, I had to re-cut and score the card but I love how it turned out.

We ended with a tissue box cover that matches all the other pieces.
The Precious Parcel card is the front of the cover.  For the sides, we ran Pear Pizzazz card stock through the
Lace Embossing Folder and then sponged over it with Mossy Meadow ink.

Lastly we added Pearls to the center of each flower.

There was no stamping on this project, just lots of assembling but it was definitely worth the time.
