Bermuda Bay Life’s Too Short to Say No to Cake

One of my favorite stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog is Amazing Life, you can find it on page 28.  For today’s card I used my favorite color — Bermuda Bay and the greeting — Life’s too short to say no to cake.  I definitely agree with this, don’t you.

Forever Lovely and Meant to Be Framed Art

Last night was my All My Love Suite Surprise Class.  This month instead of cards we made a framed art piece.  When I was at Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event in November there was a display using this suite.  I believe the creator was Mary Boncek.  She created a framed art piece that everyone fell in love with.  There have been samples of it all over Pinterest and Facebook and I knew that this was the piece I wanted to do for my All My Love class.  I made some small tweak’s to Mary’s idea and I love how it turned out and so did the ladies at class.

I love the lacy corners and the flowers on the left panel, they have so much depth and they are just one layer.  Each of the word panels work great for an anniversary or even wedding gift (just leave off the Happy Valentine’s Day banner from the middle.  There is quite a bit of die cutting on this project but I think it was so worth it.

Birthday Cupcake??

Who doesn’t love a cupcake for their birthday, right!!!  Sale-a-Bration has brought us the perfect cupcake stamp set — Hello Cupcake. This set has great greetings along with the cupcake wrapper, cake and loads of yummy frosting and sprinkles of course.  For this card I added even more frosting but stamping it twice, cutting it out and layering one on top of the other – twice as good.
