Pleasant Pheasants stamp set, Buffalo Check stamp

 

I love the colors in this card — Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Early Espresso and Mango Melody.  The bucket of veggies and greeting are from Pleasant Pheasant stamp set and colored with Stampin’ Blends.  The background is the Buffalo Check background stamp and we used a ruler to add Mango Melody and Old Olive lines.  We punch out two Old Olive and two Mango Melody leaves using the Leaf Punch.  The Stitched Shape Oval Framelit adds more texture and then finished off with Linen Thread.

Sending a Blizzard of Wishes

Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I am looking forward to a day with my kids, grand kids and brother-in-law and sister-in-law.  I love time spent with family and thinking back over the past year.  As Thanksgiving day winds down we jump right into Christmas with some Black Friday shopping, decorating and thinking about everything that needs to be done over the next month.  One thing on my to do list is getting my Christmas cards finished and in the mail.  Here is a card we made at class Monday night that is simple but beautiful and elegant.  We used Merry Merlot with Copper Foil Sheets and All is Bright Designer paper with Snow is Glistening Stamp Set and Snowfall Thinlits.  The stamp set and thinlit are part of the Snowflake Showcase that is available for just 9 days more — have you ordered these yet — they are MUST haves.

I am loving the Snow is Glistening stamp set and Snowfall Thinlits.  The snowflakes are so elegant — they can be a bit tricky to poke out all the detail but it is so worth it!!  Check out this pretty blue and silver snowflake card.
