Today is my best friend’s birthday!!!

Wish her a very Happy Birthday today — she deserves the very best.

She’ll receive this card Tuesday when I see her, but she does
see my blog, so she’ll get a sneak peek today.
I used the new Happiness Surrounds stamp set, it’s part of the Snowflake Showcase,
which is available only during the month of November.

Stack of Snowflakes with Snow is Glistening

I am having a blast playing with the Snow is Glistening stamp set and the Snowfall Thinlits — I hope you aren’t getting tired of it yet.  This time I used Silver Embossing Powder and Silver Foil Sheets and I added one of the new Snowflake Trinkets.

I love the Silver embossed falling snowflakes border on the right side.  More texture was added with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  The Silver Foil Sheet was used for the layers between the Bermuda Bay and Pool Party cardstocks and for the snowflakes.  The large snowflake is attached with Dimensionals and also for the medium snowflake and a Mini Glue Dot for the Snowflake Trinket.  This card turned out just like I pictured it in my head.  I even did a tutorial for you with all the dimensions and products used.  You can order any of the products below — just click the item.

Happiness Surrounds Me

Today I wanted to share a card we made using the Happiness Surrounds stamp set and the White Velvet Sheets — both from the Snowflake Showcase Suite.  This stamp set is great to use for the whole year.

We stamped on the White Velvet Sheets with Night of Navy and Balmy Blue.  This paper stamps beautifully and dried very quickly for us.

Happiness Surrounds, Tufted Embossing Folder
The Balmy Blue layer is embossed with the Tufted embossing folder.  I stamped the Night of Navy image first on all 3 velvet squares.  Next I stamped the flower with Balmy Blue ink — attach a Rhinestone to the center of each flower.  I stamped the words and the little flowers on Whisper White cardstock and trimmed a banner end, then attached it to a strip of Night of Navy and trimmed that to match stamped image.

Measurements:
Night of Navy — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — scored at 4 1/4″
Balmy Blue — 4″ x 5 1/4″ — run through Tufted Embossing Folder
Night of Navy — 3 — 1 5/8″ x 1 5/8″, 2 — 3/4″ x 2″
Velvet Sheet — 3 — 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″
Whisper White — 2 — 5/8″ x 1 7/8″
