Let the Good Times Roll Pop Up Card

WOW — what a fun card to make — time consuming and little pieces but it is so darn adorable I forgot all the hard work that went into it.  It makes me smile every time I open the card.  Sometimes it IS WORTH the extra time involved to make that special card.

So what was the special card — I used the Let the Good Times Roll Stamp Set and the Thrill Ride Framelits to make this fun roller coaster pop up card.  It almost looks like those little cars are really going to move on the roller coaster, don’t you think so?

The front of the card is adorable just like this but wait, open the card up…………..

Isn’t it just the cutest!!!  I love every detail on this card.  Yes, it did take a while to make — glue dots made the assemble quicker and a few mini dimensionals to give some more depth.  Now, who to give this card too!!!
I look forward to make a few more of these beauties.

Magical Day Knight and Dragon

Here’s a fun card using the Magical Day Bundle — Magical Day stamp set and Magical Mates Framelits.  I paired the dragon and the knight along with the Myths & Magic Specialty Paper.  The paper has some great silver texture and sparkle in the stars.

I used the Brick Embossing Folder (sad — it’s retiring) for the castle and the Everyday Label Punch for the day way to the castle.

Happy Birthday Mom!!!

Today is my mom’s birthday.  Happy Birthday Mom!!!  This card is blue so maybe a little more guy looking but it’s filled with lots of presents and treats.  I used the Party Hat Birthday Stamp Set and the Stamparatus to make this cute card.  The Stamparatus made it quick and easy to stamp each of the different layers of the hat — Dapper Denim, Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight.

I used the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder for the background layer.  Such a fun card and I loved working with my Stamparatus.
