Share What You Love May Scrapbook Pages

The Share What You Love Specialty Designer Paper is perfect for scrapbook pages to highlight Mom.  The pretty floral images give a beautiful, soft background to highlight special moments with the important people in our lives.  I used the Love What You Do Stamp Set for the “It’s a beautiful day” oval.  I stamped the little flowers with Rich Razzleberry and used Wink of Stella to color the flowers and add a little sparkle.

I love the “splat” image to add color behind the flowers that are stamped with Memento to make them pop a bit.  I am spending the weekend with my mom so I may need to take a few pictures of us to add to my pages.

April/Easter Scrapbook Pages

I wanted to share my April Scrap & Go pages with you.  These pages are great for Easter pictures or some early spring pictures.  I used Pink Pirouette for the background — don’t forget this is a retiring color.  I accented with Smoky Slate and then Whisper White to set off the pictures.

For page 2 I added labels cut with the Lots of Labels Framelits — I hope you ordered these from the retiring list because they are sold out already (bummer – love these).  I stamped the daffodils from You’re Inspiring and colored them with the Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen.  I used the We Must Celebrate stamp set for the bunny — I cut all four animals apart for easier stamping when you want just one image and the images line up easy on the clear block when you want them all together.  The bunny is also colored with Watercolor Pencils.  I added a strip of the Magic & Myths Washi Tape down the center of the 1/2″ Smoky Slate strip.

New Colors Are In The House

New Colors Are In The House!!!  My first shipment of new colors has arrived (I’m waiting on the subtles to arrive – had a little issue with that package).  I cut each color into 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ squares – look at all those fun colors.

Color Revamp, New Colors
Gee — why did I cut all that cardstock into squares?  I have a fun little project at class later in the month so I figured while putting away my new goodies I might as well get these colors prepped and ready.  I am waiting on the 10 Subtles to arrive and I’m ready for some fun!!!

Color is your favorite retiring color?  Post a comment and I’ll draw for a fun little gift.
