Today I have a card gift box using the Share What You Gotta Have It All Bundle!!!  I’ve already told you how great this bundle is.  The designer paper is gorgeous.  Laura Milligan demoed this beautiful suite at On Stage last month.  She made this card box from the Share What You Love Designer Paper and then made five cards to go inside.  I love cards that are packaged pretty as a gift and this definitely fits the bill.

She used the same basic layout on each card with the embossing folder background — love this.  What a great set of card and the box is beautiful.

Move Me Butterfly Pop Through Card

Today I have a fun card for you.  I’ve seen it all over Pinterest and Facebook and it was time I made this one with my ladies.  They all loved this butterfly pop through card and I think they are ready to make many more.  I know that I can’t wait to make some more with all different shapes.

I used the You Move Me stamp set and Move Me Thinlits (both are retiring).  This butterfly is so pretty.  It has a framelit that cuts the outline of the butterfly and a thinlit that cuts the delicate detail of the wings.  The designer paper is Fresh Florals (also retiring).  The Classic Label Punch gives you the opening for the butterfly.

How do you make this card?  It’s really very easy to do.
1. Attach designer paper to card front
2. Use Classic Label Punch to create slot — punch once, scoot down about 1/4″ and punch again.


 


3.  Cut out 2 butterfly outlines and 1 Silver Foil butterfly with outline and detail.


4.  Fold all three butterflies in half.  Use glue to attach Silver Foil butterfly to butterfly outlines, one half at a time.





5.  Put glue on the back wings of the butterfly, fold front in half and slip through card opening and flatten butterfly to attach to inside of the card.

Hilary’s Birthday Celebration Time

Birthdays are a great time to celebrate for kids and adults alike.  Here’s a fun card that is a day late.  This card is for Hilary.  Hilary was one of my first customers 14 years ago when I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.  Hilary was a senior in high school and was very serious about her stamping, she wanted everything just right and would make everyone else stop while she finished her card.  I loved stamping with her then.  Now she is all grown up and has a 1 1/2 year daughter of her own.  She still stamps some and does a great job of it and is so much calmer now and loves to show others how to do the card.  Hilary’s birthday was yesterday and I missed wishing her happy birthday, so Hilary this card is for you.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
