I Just Love You Petal Passion Suite

I have a wonderful, soft card for you today.  The card is a “z” fold and has lots and lots of flowers.  I used the Pool Party Combo Pack to color the flowers on the left side.  The Lace Doily added a soft feminine look to this card.  The greeting and small flower and stamp on a Whisper White Layering Circles Framelits.  I colored the flower with the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend.  I also added a couple of Soft Sky flowers in the background and added one of the Petal Passion Embellishments.  I can’t wait to mail this card out.

Happiest of Birthdays with Petal Passion Suite

I love the black and white color combo in the Petal Passion designer paper.  This paper coordinates with every color or make your own beautiful designer paper by coloring or highlighting the flowers with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  It is absolutely gorgeous.  For this card I used one of the retiring colors, Wisteria Wonder with black accents to highlight the designer paper.

I stamped the flower image with Archival Black and color it with Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz markers and then cut it out with the Petal & More Framelits set.  The “Happiest of Birthdays” stamp is from Picture Perfect Birthday — it is stamped on a Stitched Shape Whisper White oval which is layered on a Wister Wonder scalloped oval.

Card base is Bermuda Bay — 4 1/4″ x 11″ — score at 5 1/2″
Calypso Coral — 2″ x 4 1/4″ — punch end with Banner Triple Punch — emboss with Petal Pairs Embossing Folder
Black — 2 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ — attach Calypso Coral banner to black and trim banner end
Black — 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ — cut out circle with Layering Circles Framelits
Whisper White — 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ — cut out with Stitched Shape Framelit — stamp flower with Memento ink — color with Calypso Coral Combo Pack Stampin’ Blends and Light Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend
Black — 1 1/4″ x 5″ — cut lace with Framelit — attach with Tombow Multipurpose Glue (I put a puddle of glue on scrap paper and with a piece of sponge dab glue on back of lace image
White — 1″ x 4 1/4″ — stamp Best Wishes — cut out with framelit — attach to card and trim off left edge
