It’s the End of Stampin’ Sisters Retreat For Another Year!!!

We are to the end of our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat until next year.  I hope you have enjoyed all our crazy pictures and projects.  This is our biggest event of the year and is an absolute blast as I think you have seen.  I wanted to share a few final pictures.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat, Come on Downs, Gifts
Here are all of the “come on downs” they received for each project.
It also includes two extra gifts we gave out — the designer paper left is wrapped up cute.
They also received the extra Petal Passion Memories & More cards — they can make more frames
or adorable cards.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat, Lunch
We provided a wonderful Italian Buffet for lunch Saturday.
The hotel was so wonderful, they even fixed gluten free pasta for a few of us, no nice.
We had choice of sauces:  marinara or Alfredo.
We also had grilled chicken strips and meatballs.
Dessert was brownies or cookies and fruit for us gluten free people.
I think everyone got fueled up for the afternoon of stamping.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat, Box Ride
We do get a little silly at times.
It was a good time for a box ride — doesn’t everyone do that!!!

Stampin' Sisters Retreat, Come on Downs, Picnic
Here is the picnic basket filled with finished cards
and all the “come on down” gifts from the weekend.
Do you think we spoiled them enough?

Stampin' Sisters Retreat, Picnic
Each year we take a group picture.
Here are all 96 of us — it’s really hard to see everyone but
I love to look over all those smiling faces.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat, Picnic

Every year we take one final goodbye picture as everyone
waves and says see you next year.
I would love to have more of you join us next year.

Tomorrow we’ll get back to lots of other fun projects so be sure to come back and check it out.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat — File Tab Scrapbook

Our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat final project — well that’s kind of sad.  We wanted to end with something that would help them remember our time together.  We made a mini tab scrapbook they could put pictures from the weekend in or it would be great for a quick birthday scrapbook.  We used the Picture Perfect Party Designer Paper with coordinating cardstocks and the Circle Tab Punch to create our flip tabs.

We’re at the center of our scrapbook — let’s cue the confetti.
We tied the book together with Pool Party Baker’s Twine — that was their gift for this project.

Bird Banter & Tuttu Frutti Cards & Envelopes

Today is Project 8 from Stampin’ Sisters Retreat and it is a fun one!!!  We used the Bird Banter Stamp Set which many said before retreat that they didn’t need this set.  When they were working of the project they fell in love with those adorable birds, especially the one wearing a birthday hat.  We used the Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog for the base of all fours cards.  These wonderful cards & envelopes come four colors to a package — So Saffron, Calypso, Lemon Lime Twist & Pool Party.  Each card has a different background texture — they are so fun to use.

Did you guess what the FREE product giveaway was for this project — Adhesive Backed Sequins.  We added them to each card for some fun sparklies.

We used the same layout on all four cards — circles from the 2 1/4″ punch and Layering Circles Framelits and a banner that is embossed with the Petal Pairs Embossing Folder.  The birds are stamped with Memento ink and colored in with Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I love the color combo in this one.

This bird is quite confident of himself.
