Nature’s Poem Suite Surprise

Here is my final Nature’s Poem Suite project from my On Stage presentation.  This project features all the products in the suite in an adorable card set complete with a carrying case and a “sweet” treat package.  These cards cover many occasions — birthday, thank you, sympathy and all occasion.  I have used a bit of a feminine touch to this project with Petal Pink giving a softer feel.

A quick tote for storing the cards and envelope which is beautiful to put in a cello bag for a beautiful present.

I love the soft feel the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder gives.  To add a little more texture I used the embossing thinlits and cut out with the leaves framelit.  The greeting “Be Strong, Be Happy, Be You” was stamped and trimmed with Paper Snips and attached with Mini Dimensionals.  I separated a piece of the Grapefruit Grove twine into three strands and tied a small bow in the center.

A very gentle Sympathy card.  I used the Rock & Roll Technique on the leave — ink stamp with Petal Pink and then roll the edges of the stamp in Cajun Craze and stamp on the Whisper White Stitched Circle.

I stamped the leaf with Cajun Craze for the background.  The tree is the focal point of the thank you card.  I added a bronze leaves trinket and colored three pearls with the Bronze Stampin’ Blend.

I love the fun layout of this card — lots of texture here with the linen looking designer paper, twine, leaves and fun square cutouts.

We can’t have a Suite Surprise without a “Sweet” Treat Package.

I decorated a Mini Pizza Box with the Nature’s Poem designer paper and a bronze Leaves Trinket.

Nature’s Poem Assorted Cards

The Nature’s Poem Suite covers card making for all events.  Here is another group of cards I made for my presentation at On Stage.  I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again — the versatility of this suite is fabulous.

I started with the Nature’s Poem designer paper when designing this card.  I pulled the color combo from the paper too – Soft Suede card base with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Cajun Craze and the designer paper is 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.  I used markers to ink the stamps this time — Tranquil Tide, Soft Suede and Cajun Craze.

This “Just for You” card has a calming effect to me.  The card base is Tranquil Tide with a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ layer of Soft Suede and 3 3/4″ x 5″ of Whisper White.  I inked trees with Tranquil Tide and Soft Suede Markers, stamping once, breathing on the stamp and stamping it a second and repeat.  Just for You is stamped with Soft Suede and punched out with 3/4″ Circle Punch and layered on 1 1/4″ circle of Tranquil Tide. I sponged a little Soft Suede behind the trees.

This was a fun card — I stamped the leaf four times with Tranquil Tide ink and cut out with the coordinating Nature’s Roots framelits.

I love the wood grain look of this piece of the Nature’s Poem designer paper.  This card is great for a masculine card.

The Nature’s Poem designer paper gives a great display area for the Nature’s Poem Designer paper.  Here I separated the twine into separate strands — tied a knot in the center and attached an Aged Copper Leaves Trinket under the tree.  This card works as a sympathy card.

The final card in this grouping works great for a birthday card or just to let someone know you are thinking about them.

Nature’s Poem Suite with Blackberry Bliss

Stampin’ Up! is doing a big Color Revamp with the new Annual Catalog in June.  Some colors are leaving and we have some returning In Colors.  One of the big favorites is Blackberry Bliss.  This is a wonderful deep purple that is very rich and fun to work with.  It is one of the colors that coordinate with the Nature’s Poem designer paper which is part of the Nature’s Poem Suite that I presented at On Stage.  Today I am sharing a set of cards that I had on my display board that featured the Nature’s Poem designer paper along with the Rooted in Nature stamp set and the Nature’s Roots framelits.  All three cards stay with the same color combo — Blackberry Bliss and Petal Pink (a new In Color).

This card has lots of leaves.  I stamped the leaf with Blackberry Bliss first and stamped it down both sides of the Whisper White layer.  I cleaned the stamp good and then used Petal Pink ink and stamped the leaf upside down the center.  To Thank You For All You Do is stamped with Blackberry Bliss and centered across the card front.

For this card I used the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder adding some texture with the leaves designer paper.  I stamped You Are Wonderful with Blackberry Bliss ink and added some leaves that I stamped off for a lighter shade.  I added a Lace Doily behind the layers (these are retiring so get them before they are gone).  I took a 6 1/2″ piece of the Blackberry Bliss twine and separated the strands, then added them beside the designer paper layer for some more texture.

The final card in this group has two different designs from the Nature’s Poem Designer Paper.  I added a piece of the Blackberry Bliss Twine across the center.  The Thinking of You is stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink and cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits then layered on Petal Pink scalloped circle and Blackberry Bliss circle both cut using the Layering Circles Framelits.  The flower leaves were stamped with Petal Pink and cut out with the Nature’s Roots Framelits.

This suite of products is so versatile — great for masculine, feminine, birthdays, sympathy, all occasion.  It will be a must have for everyone.
