Brusho Crystal Colours — Give Them a Try

I have been playing a bit with some of the new products in the Occasions Catalog.  I’ll have some samples to share with you next week.  I have a video on one new item that I wanted to share with you today.  It is showing some ways to use the new Brusho Crystals.  I played with them a little last night and they are pretty cool.  I have a lot to learn about them but it is completely different than anything I’ve used before.  I know that you are going to want to give them a try.

Amazing Congratulations for a new Baby!

As we welcome in a New Year, I have a friend welcoming a new baby to her life.  Katie Reichers this card is for you, Jim and baby Dean.  We all say Congratulations on your new little one.

The stamp set is from the Occasions Catalog which starts TODAY!!!  I am so excited about all the new products to play with.  This set is called Amazing Congratulations and it is an amazing set.  This stamp set is a two step stamp — if you look close at the stamped image you can see two different shades of green.  The word is split into two separate stamps — the first part is stamped with Old Olive which makes every other letter darker.  The second part is stamped with Pear Pizzazz which gives the light shade and a fun look.

Amazing Congratulations stamp set, Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Paper, Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder, Baby

The base of the card is So Saffron with a So Saffron layer that has been embossed with the new Scattered Sequins embossing folder.  The designer paper is from Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Paper.  A piece of Old Olive Bakers Twine was wrapped around the card and tied in a bow to add a little softness to the card.  The final touch I love it the So Saffron heart shape for the dot on the “i”.  Such a great addition to the card.

Remember any of the new products can be ordered now.  The best part — when your order hits $50 you get to choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  I LOVE FREE goodies.

Flying Home

We moved on to 2018 pretty uneventful in my house.  It is frigid cold outside and now that the holidays are over I see plenty of posts wishing for spring.  We have a ways to go before we see warm temps again but until then we can dream with plenty of fun spring stamp sets from the Occasions Catalog.  We can start ordering from it tomorrow and you are going to love it.

This adorable card used the Flying Home stamp set.  This nest of birds definitely reminds me of spring.  We have plenty of texture with the Wood Textures designer paper.

Flying Home stamp set, Wood Textures Designer Paper,

Check out the fun double z fold on this card.  The greeting is on the 1″ z fold strip.  I love starting the new year with fun folds — one of my favorite cards to make.
