Wisteria Butterfly

The Butterfly Basics stamp set has become a favorite of lots of my stampers.
Wisteria Butterfly Collage
My Stamp & Go Club members loved this card at class the lasts two nights, but they did think it was a bit challenging.  This was a card I saw at a Shoebox Swap in January.  I love everything about this card.  I haven't used Elegant Eggplant in for ever.  The base of the card is Wisteria Wonder with a layer of Elegant Eggplant and then Shimmery White.

I don't know who designed this card but they did a fabulous job.  I made my card almost the same — I tweaked just a couple of things.

Give it a try — it really isn't that difficult — just lots of stamping.

You Brighten My Day

Brighten My DayYou Brighten My Day is a stamp set that you can choose FREE through the end of this month — just place a $50 order and you get to choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure.  To me this card just says HELLO — have a great day!

The base of the card is Daffodil Delight with a layer of Coastal Cabana.  Then a layer of Whisper White that has been embossed with the Lovely Lace embossing folder and a strip of of Best Year Ever DSP and ribbon.

I know just who I plan to send this card to.
Have you sent out a card lately.  I challenge you to put a card in the mail today.

Butterfly Basics Birthday

I am busy finishing up final details for our Stampin' Sisters Retreat this coming weekend, so I thought I would share a few more swap cards I received at Leadership Conference back in January.
Happy Birthday ButterflyI think I have already shared that this stamp set has quickly become a favorite of mine.  This swap card showcases the stamp set so nicely.  The base of the card is Crumb Cake with a layer of Pear Pizzazz and then a layer of Very Vanilla that has been stamped on.  The ink colors are Pear Pizzazz and Elegant Eggplant (there's a color I haven't used in a while — I forgot how much I liked that color).  I like the little bit of sponging that was done with Crumb Cake ink.
