Designer Paper Class

Last month I started my Designer Paper Class again. This is a mini paper share. Participants received half a package of two different Designer Paper packs, coordinating cardstocks plus two surprise embellishments. I design 3 cards from each Designer Paper pack. These are the 3 cards I designed using the Gathering Together Designer Paper, Cajun Craze & Gold Dots and Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread Pack.

I love the Fall colors — Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso.

Don’t forget to decorate the inside of your card too – Cajun Craze leaves and a Crumb Cake acorn.

The second card shows all the beautiful colors in the designer paper. I used Early Espresso Two-Tone Cardstock for the banner. It was embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder and then I sanded over it to expose the white core of the paper.

I decorated the inside of this card with a strip of Designer Paper.

Lots of Cajun Craze and Early Espresso on the third card in this grouping. The Branching Out Dies were used for the labels on the front of the card. If you don’t have this die set yet, you have to put it on your Wish List – it is a MUST have set.

More leaves and acorns inside the last card.

Fun with A Little Cheer

The 3rd Fall Fest project was Fun with A Little Cheer Christmas Card Set. This card set features the A Little Cheer Bundle and Traditions of Christmas Designer Paper.

I pulled the color combinations from the designer paper — Real Red, Old Olive and Secret Sea. After working with this paper, I love this color combination.

The first card pulls a little Old Olive in with the Real Red base. We don’t have an Old Olive ribbon, so I added the Mossy Meadow & Gold Ribbon

I stamped the presents with Secret Sea — full strength for the three small presents and stamped off for the three larger presents. Then I fussy cut the presents and tucked under the designer paper.

For the third card, I embossed the top portion of the Basic White panel with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.

Card #4 is full of circles, starbursts and stockings.

The fifth card is one of my favorites! I love everything that is going on here — lots of layers!!

Lots of Christmas cards on the final card.

Christmas Tags & More Scrapbook Pages

On Project 2 of Fall Fest we started preparing for Christmas, so the Scrapbook participants made Christmas Tags & More Scrapbook Pages. These pages focused on the Christmas Tags & More 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper. This designer paper has wonderful paper prints – 8 sheets each plus 4 sheets of die cuts. Each participant received half a package of the Designer Paper which included lots of fun die cuts.

The Designer Paper has a Garden Green and Real Red color combination.

Page 1 uses the Traditional Labels Die and Jolly Holly Stamp Set. I love the frosted tree with tiny presents and plenty of space for pictures and journaling.

Page 2 has fun ornaments and stockings filled with candy canes.

Pages 3 & 4 start with Real Red page bases.

The large ornaments on Page 3 is actually one of the Designer Paper prints.
I cut one of the die cut strips in half and banner cut the ends to add fun banners.

The Garden Green gingham in the center was cut from the 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper so they don’t meet in the middle but the Merry & Bright label cover the open space.

These pages have plenty of space for all those Holiday pictures of family & friends.
