Sweet Soiree Wedding Card

I haven’t had any wedding in my family or friends for many years.  This year I have four wonderful friends and family whose children are getting married between April and June — I’m so excited for all of them.  This elegant wedding card was made using the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit (I love this kit — it is a MUST HAVE and it’s only $11 — worth SO MUCH more).

The Garden Trellis Embossing Folder gives the beautiful background for the silver accented wedding cake and flower bouquet.  The simply “Best Wishes” label give a very subtle greeting to the bridal couple.  This is such a simple card but it so stunning when you see it in person.  All you have to do is add a check to the lovely newlyweds and they are all set to start their life together.

Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit for Your Birthday

Have you seen the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit on page 13 of the Occasions Catalog — oh my gosh, it is fabulous.  The catalog doesn’t show how gorgeous this kit really is.  The beautiful flowers are die cuts — they are already colored and laser cut out for you, just punch out and apply.  I cased this layout from my sister, Tina Rappe, it is simple with a pop of Berry Burst.  The Softly Falling Embossing Folder gives some background texture and the Stitched Shape Berry Burst Oval gives the pop of color to attach those gorgeous flowers.  I used Rose Wonder stamp set for the label outline and Happy Birthday and cut it out with the matching Rose Garden Framelits.

Here is the same layout except this time I used Smoky Slate and the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder and added some loops of Silver Baker’s Twine to make a beautiful Sympathy card.

Sweet Soiree Suite Surprise Gift

Last night was this month’s Suite Surprise Class.  Each month I focus on one of the suites in the catalog.  Last night we used the Sweet Soiree Suite.  Everyone received a package of the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Paper, a roll of Berry Burst 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon, Silver Baker’s Twine and the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit.  They all used my Cake Soiree stamp set, Sweet Cake Framelits and the Sweet Soiree Decorative Masks with the Shimmery White Embossing Paste and we made six wonderful cards and we decorated a Silver Mini Gable Box.

I like to make a little “sweet” treat for everyone participate in this class.  Here is the treat they received for this class.  I added a mini Rice Krispie Treat and a few Hershey Kisses inside to help them through the class.  I took this idea from Tami White but changed my colors.  The box is embossed with the Scattered Sequins embossing folder.  I stamped with Whisper White ink on Calypso Coral cardstock and embossed with White Embossing Powder — then cut out with the coordinating framelit.  I cut the label with the Sweet Cake Framelit and stamped “celebrate” with Calypso.

Here’s another fun box that everyone got to make.  We used the beautiful Sweet Soiree designer paper and Berry Burst cardstock to add elegance to the project.  I this would be perfect for little shower treats.
