Merriest Christmas Wishes – Dr. Seuss Style

Today’s card reminds me of Dr. Seuss and the Cat in the Hat.  The red stripe paper is from Christmas Around the World designer paper.  The stamp set used is Watercolor Christmas — such a great stamp set.

May Your Season Sparkle

Fun color combo and lots of textures on this card.  I used Fresh Fig for the card base with a layer of Champagne Foil Sheet, added some swirl designer paper, striped ribbon and rhinestones.  All this makes lots of glitz and glimmer.  The stamp set is Add a Little Glitz and it is perfect for the banner.

Enjoy the Warmth of the Season

Over the river and through the woods……..
That’s the first thought I have when I see this card.  The colors are Christmas but the houses and rolling hill is just waiting for a sleigh ride.

For the greeting I used the Hearts Come Home stamp set (page 39 of the Holiday Catalog).  The houses are cut using the Hometown Greetings Edgelit and the Layering Circles Framelit.  I added the fabulous plaid designer paper from Christmas Around the World.

Measurements:
Real Red – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Black – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Whisper White – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ — stamp greeting with Memento ink
Black – 2 3/8″ x 5 1/8″
Christmas Around World Designer Paper – 2 1/4″ x 5″
Real Red – cut out scallop circle using Layering Circles Framelits
Black – 3″ x 3″
Whisper White  – cut out houses – I kept only these two houses — trimmed extras away
     Adhere to black square and cut out circle using Layering Circles Framelits
1/8″ Satin Real Red Ribbon – two pieces 6″ — attach one to back of designer paper — slip second piece under and tie a knot

I added a few Rhinestones for the sparkly stars.
