Life is Better with Friends — I think this is so true, don’t you!!!
This card is for my sister, Tina, who is having back surgery today — please keep her in your prayers.  She posted last night how she feels so blessed to have so many friends and so much support as she goes through this.

Tranquil Tide stamp set, Friends

The stamp set I used is Tranquil Tulip, which is a Host Exclusive stamp set.  That means you can only order this stamp set when you host a class, party, book party or place an order yourself of at least $150.  It is an amazing stamp set and so much fun to use.  It is a two-step stamp which means one layer stamps right over the other layer — look at the dimension in these flowers — beautiful.

Early Espresso – 3″ x 5 1/4″
Pear Pizzazz – 2 3/4″ x 5″
Whisper White – 2 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
Pear Pizzazz 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon – two 5″ pieces (I use first ribbon and attach ends to back off layers then tuck the second ribbon under the first and tie a knot — quick and easy “cheater bow”)

Sitting in the Sun

It has been calm and quiet the past few nights and I’ve enjoyed sitting outside on the adirondack chairs with my hubby.  I find this very soothing, except when the mosquitoes come out.  Team member Wendy Tikk made this card for a meeting back in June and I just came across the picture tonight and thought it was quite fitting.

The Colorful Season stamp set has so many great images and they cover all four seasons very well and of course to me the best part is the coordinating Seasonal Layers Thinlits to help cut out those wonderful images.

The Wood Textures designer paper is the perfect background on this card and the flowers work well for spring or summer.  I love the Thinking of You phrase and two adirondack chairs.

Carols of Christmas
