It’s FINALLY Here!!!

Are you as excited as I am???  The NEW 2017-2018 Annual Catalog is FINALLY here!!!!
That’s right — starting at 1:00 p.m. today we can order all those fun new items you’ve been drooling over.  Wait, you didn’t get a catalog yet — let me know and I’ll make sure you get one.
There are two stamp sets that will be on my order today.  The first one is the Sharing Sweet Thoughts on page 233.  That is the Ronald McDonald Stamp Set — reminder that for every stamp set sold, Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  I will be doing a class this month featuring this stamp set — you won’t want to miss it.  I’ll even do a class in the mail.
The second stamp set I want right away is the Coffee Cafe Bundle/Suite — I love this suite — matching stamp set, framelits, designer paper, ribbons and embellishments.  This was also be a special class in June.

Tuscan Vineyard

Do you ever find a stamp set you’ve had for a long time and realize you haven’t used it yet.  That’s what happened to me as I was planning make & takes for my Bingo Party.  I’ve had the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set which I loved and had to purchase but then it sat on my shelf and I forgot all about it.  I pulled it out and fell in love all over again.  I used a new In Color which I think is PERFECT for this stamp set.

Fresh Fig is the new color — isn’t is perfect for the vineyard.  I paired it with Soft Suede and Sahara Sand.  I love the row of corks — I even added them to the inside of my card.

It was a fun card to make — a little shabby chic but a sweet elegance to it too.  It makes me want to sit with a friend and share a bottle of win.

One Wild Ride

As we come into the final days of the Annual Catalog and prepare for the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog I wanted to share a card with a mix of old and new.  My sister, Tina, designed this card and I LOVED the use of the new Wood Textures designer paper.  I asked her if I could use this design for my class — she generously said go for it.  I changed to Cajun Craze background and the new 1/4″ Copper Trim and everyone was very pleased with it.

I think the Wood Texture designer paper “makes” this card — you stamp the motorcycle right on the paper.
The Life’s a Journey badge is also stamped right on the designer paper, then trimmed close to the edge.  I punched a piece of Early Espresso cardstock using the Best Badge punch to outline the badge.

We stamped the inside of the card too.
