Stampin Sisters Project 7 – Cool Treats Cards

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Project 7 was Cool Treats Cards.
We made a set of six cards using the Cool Treats Bundle (stamp set and framelits) along with the Tasty Treats designer paper.  This card set was a fan favorite.  We heard lots of squeals on this one.
CoolTreats
The color combo in this paper is just so fun.  Definitely makes me think of summer and the ice cream truck driving down the road with all the neighbor kids running out for a treat.

Check out the details on the ice cream cone — it looks so real.
CoolTreatsCard2
Mint chocolate chip ice cream is one of my favorites so this card was a must.
We used the Confetti embossing folder and then the Stitched Shapes framelits for the center oval for the greeting.
CoolTreatsCard3
This piece of designer paper is awesome — all that ice cream and popsicles are embossed right on the paper (it comes like that) — so adorable you don’t need much more.
CoolTreatsCard4
How about some fun summer fruits — strawberries and cherries are also embossed on this paper.  We added a little strawberry on the greeting circle — the ladies weren’t too happy fussing with that little thing but they did agree that it finished the card off.
CoolTreatsCard5
Can you every get enough ice cream.  In an ice cream shop there are so many flavors it’s hard to choose — it looks like the person this bowl belongs to couldn’t make up there mind either.
CoolTreatsCard6
This card gives you every kind of ice cream treat — popsicles, ice cream cones, bowls of ice cream, you name it I think it’s here.

I think everyone was ready to go home and make lots more of these cards — so much fun!!

Stampin’ Sisters Project 6 — Gift Card Holders

Stampin’ Sisters Project 6 was Gift Card Holders and who doesn’t like to receive a gift card.  The card is part of the gift — don’t you love it.

We tried to cover a variety of occasions.

Card 1 works great for teenage girl, don’t you think.

Our last project is fabulous for the kids!!  It’s a card, a gift card holder and a treat holder all in one.  Any child will be so excited to receive this.  Open the book and look inside.

Stampin’ Sisters Project 5 — Nailed It

We made it through half of our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Projects.
Now we are on to Project 5 which featured the Nailed It Bundle.
We made four great cards and even added some of the Urban Underground Embellishments to a couple of the cards — these are so adorable.
NailedItCards
I love all the tools on the first card.
NailedItCard1
I love all the texture on this second card.
NailedItCard2
Don’t you love the little screws at the bottom — they are from the Urban Underground Embellishments.  They look so real — love it.

The next card reminds me of my dad and brother — my dad is always building something and my brother is a carpenter — he builds houses.
NailedItCard3
The star on the pocket is another embellishment — it fits just perfect.

The last card is MY card — I love the girly tools and yes I do have some of my own tools.
NailedItCard4
We added a couple bolt heads from the Urban Underground Embellishments.
I think they are just the right touch.

I hope you’ll give this bundle a try — all those little tools are so much fun.
