More Day 1 Stampin’ Sisters Retreat

Here's a little more about Day 1 of Stampin' Sisters Retreat.

We like to welcome our "Newbies" each year — newbies means this is the first year these ladies have attended our retreat.  We have 14 Newbies this year and I think they'll be back with us again next year.
Newbies
They each received a cute little notebook filled with sticky notes, sticky flags and a pen all tied
up in cute packaging.
Newbie Gift
Next we honored the ladies that are part of our demo team, 17 fabulous team members joined up this year.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Day 1

The fun has begun!!!

Here is Tina and I behind the piles of boxes just before we started.
Buried in Boxes
And now the work begins.
The room started like this.
Emply Room
It took a few hours but this is what it looked like when we opened the doors
to welcome them in.
Welcome Sign
Banner and room
These each received a goodie bag filled with supplies.
We even designed and had t-shirts made for everyone that wanted one.
Bags
Here's all the supplies in the bag.
Bag of Supplies
And in the center of each table we had boxes of Animal Crackers and a bucket of popcorn with strings of game tickets attached — so darn cute.
Centerpieces
Our prize patrol is a chance to win a fish.
Fish Bowl Game
When they got the ping pong ball in a fish bowl they got to pick a gold fish.
Bags of Fish
These is a number on the back of each tag and they win the prize that coordinates with the number.  They really enjoyed this — no live fish to take home.

Come back tomorrow — I'll be sharing more of the fun.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Prep

Tonight is the big night.
Our Stampin' Sisters Retreat begins at 7:00 p.m.
What is Stampin' Sisters Retreat?
It is a weekend my sister, Tina, and I spend with
80 wonderful ladies.  We design and prep projects
for them to work on all weekend long.
We say it's like stamp class on steroids.

Everyone always asks how long does it take you to prep.
Tina and I really hate to add up the hours but it is so much fun
we feel it is worth all the work.

Here's just a glimpse of the work and piles of stuff that
goes into this fun weekend.
Retreat Prep
This was just a little of the prep work Wednesday night.

Retreat Boxes
Here's just a small portion of the boxes that are now loaded in my car.
Tina has a car full PLUS her husband, Dave, is kind enough to drive his
SUV filled to the top too.

This year we have 8 projects for them to complete.
Stay tuned over the weekend and we'll show you a little
of the fun these wonderful ladies are having.

Some of you may have noticed my new logo.
I am in the process of updating my blog look and had
this fun logo and signature designed for me.
When I held my Dragonfly Dreams class last month
I couldn't resist this card I saw on Pinterest — it fits
so well with my new logo.
StampwithpeggyDragonflyDreamstitched bee
I love the look of the fun dotted "bee" lines as he
buzzes around "beeing" creative.

I hope you'll continue "beeing" creative with me!!!
