Perfect Mix

I love when a stamp set has cute words or phrases
to go with the images.  Today’s card is a
quick and simple one — great for a
Valentine’s Day card or to give with
a home baked yummy!!
It features the Perfect Mix stamp set.

Perfect MixCard base:  5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Cut out the top section of the card front by
cutting across the front at 2 3/4″ and then
cut down the 4 1/4″ score line.

I used the Urban Underground designer paper
attached to Basic Black and then to the bottom
of the card front.

The bowl and words are stamped with Stazon ink.
I colored the bowl with Watercolor Pencils and
blended the color with a Blender Pen.

Charades & Easter Message

I am in Tucson, Arizona for a Leadership training.
We started late yesterday afternoon and at the end
of the training we played Reverse Charades.
I’m not a games person but I must say we did
have a good time.  It was quite competitive at
times.  Here’s my sister, Tina, acting out a word,
wish I remembered what the word was.

I do have a card to share with you today.

The Easter Message stamp set is perfect for
your Easter cards.
A very simple, purposeful card.

Yummy In My Tummy

I LOVE the little monsters in the
Yummy in my Tummy stamp set!!!
Have you checked this out?
It is so adorable — great for Valentine’s Day
projects but also good for just about
any occasion.

Yummy in My Tummy
I started with Watermelon Wonder card base
Added a layer of designer paper from the
Sale-a-Bration brochure — Carried Away – so cute.
A strip of Smoky Slate and another piece of the
Carried Away designer paper and some of
the White ribbon from the Sending Love Ribbon Pack.
Stamp the monster with Black ink on Smoky Slate,
cut out with Paper Snips,
cut out the center of his belly using the
Layering Circles Framelits.
On a small piece of Watermelon Wonder cardstock
I stamped “HUGS” with Black ink and
attached to the back of the monster with
dimensionals.
I added some color to his cheeks and paws
using a Blender Pen and Pink Pirouette stamp pad.
Isn’t he JUST THE CUTEST!!!!
