Blooming Phrases with Impressions Abloom

Another fun card using the Blooming Phrases with Impressions Abloom Die Set. What a fun layout!! I used the new Flower Garden Foils. This paper has two sheets each of Cloud Cover, Pretty in Pink and Strawberry Slush. Each color has two different embossing — one is floral design and the other is geometric design. They are all so fun and the Cloud Cover flowers was perfect for this card.

Measurements:

Strawberry Slush – 5 1/2” x 8 1/2″ – score at 4 1/4″; 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Basic Black – 4” x 5 1/4″; 3” x 3”; 1/2″ x 5 1/4″; 5/8” x 4”; 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″
Pretty in Pink – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”; 2” x 4 1/4″
Basic White – 1/2” x 4”; 4” x 5 1/4″
Flower Garden Foils – 2 1/2” x 2 1/2″
Granny Apple Green – 2” x 2”

  1. Fold Strawberry Slush card base on score line
  2. Emboss Pretty in Pink
  3. Adhere to Basic Black, then to card front
  4. Punch 2 3/8” Circle Punch from Flower Garden Foil – cut in half
  5. Die cut 3” x 3” Basic Black with Spotlight on Nature Die – ridged die – cut in half
  6. Adhere Flower Garden Foils halves to Basic Black halves, then adhere to card front – there will be a gap between the halves
  7. Adhere 1/2″ x 5 1/8” Basic Black
  8. Die cut 2 large flowers from Strawberry Slush, 2 small flowers from Pretty in Pink, 2 leaves from Granny Apple Green, 2 flower centers from Basic Black
  9. Adhere flower centers to Pretty in Pink flower, then attach to Strawberry Slush flower with Dimensionals, then attach to card front with Dimensionals
  10. Adhere leaves
  11. Stamping greeting with Memento ink on 1/2″ x 4” Basic White
  12. Adhere to 5/8” x 4” Basic Black, then to card front
  13. Adhere 4” x 5 1/4″ Basic White inside card

Extraordinary Flora Open Greeting

This week’s Extraordinary Flora Open Greeting Card is SO MUCH FUN!! I started with the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Die Set to make a unique card. This Washi Tape has pink and purple flower sections — make one card with pinks and another one with purples. Both cards are fabulous!!!



First, I cut a partial circle from the 3 3/4″ x 5″ Basic White layer, then it was embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. The greeting is stamped in the partial circle area of Shy Shamrock layer, adhering the layers together, then on to the Thick Basic White card base. By adding the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape to Basic White cardstock, you have a sturdy piece to die cut and apply the flowers to the card base. All the flowers and leaves are added with Dimensionals circling the greeting for a fun, peek-a-boo message.


Don’t forget the inside of the card. Both greetings are so lovely.

MEASUREMENTS:

Thick Basic White — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Shy Shamrock — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White — 3 3/4″ x 5″; 4 1/4″ x 6″

Notes & Totes Gift Card Holder

Wow, have you checked out the new Notes & Totes Bundle yet? Lots of little pieces but so much fun for making a Notes & Totes Gift Card Holder card. The Floral Impressions Designer Paper was perfect for a summer Strawberry Slush background and Darling Duckling accessories.


Measurements:

Strawberry Slush – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ – score at 4 1/4″; 2” x 5 1/2″
Basic Black – 4” x 5 1/4″; 1” x 3”
Basic White – 1” x 2”; 4” x 5 1/4″
Gray Granite – 3” x 4 1/4″
Floral Impressions Designer Paper — Strawberry Slush – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”; 2” x 2”
Floral Impressions Designer Paper — Darling Duckling – 3” x 3”

  1. Fold Strawberry Slush on score line
  2. Adhere designer paper to Basic Black, then to card front
  3. Die cut Gray Granite with Notes & Totes Die and pocket
  4. Die cut 2” x 2” designer paper with pocket die – trim so you have just the top of the pocket piece – adhere to Gray Granite pocket
  5. Die cut 2” x 5 1/2” Strawberry Slush – sunglass rims (keep 2 hearts that pop out); handle and bottom and side strips
  6. Die cut 1” x 3” Basic Black – large water bottom and sunglasses insides
  7. Die cut 1” x 2” Basic White with sunscreen bottle
  8. Die cut Darling Duckling designer paper with large water bottom, tumbler and sunscreen bottle
  9. Cut top of larger water off on the score line – adhere to Basic Black water bottle
  10. Cut top of sunscreen bottle off – adhere to Basic White bottle
  11. Adhere Strawberry Slush pieces to bottom of tote and along score lines
  12. Adhere handle with little glue or Mini Glue Dots
  13. Fold Gray Granite tote on score lines
  14. Adhere tote to card base (leave top edge open to tuck a gift card in)
  15. Adhere pocket to front of tote
  16. Adhere water bottle to card front with Dimensionals
  17. Tuck and adhere sunscreen bottle and tumbler
  18. Adhere sunglass rims to Basic Black sunglasses
  19. Adhere greeting and add Holographic Resin Dot to pocket flap
