Easter Bunny’s Easter Basket

Only 6 more days until Easter — are you ready? Here’s a project you can make in no time — Easter Bunny’s Easter Basket!! It’s surprising how much this little basket can hold. I found some fun carrot shaped cars that you pull back and let go. My kids used to have to much fun with these. This car has a separate bunny head to add to the car – they are so cute.

Measurements:
Summer Splash – 6” x 6” – score at 2” all 4 sides
Handle — 1” x 6”
2” x 4 1/4″ to punch 2 – 1 3/4″ circles for side decorations
Basic White – 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ die cut 2 ridged circles for side decorations
2 – 1 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ – Happy Easter Greetings — I printed mine on printer, then
die cut the banner
In Color Designer Paper – Summer Splash Dots – 4 – 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″

Today I’m sharing the second project from Easter Bunny’s Basket of Fun, a Hershey Chocolate Bunny Holder!! This adorable little treat holder is quick and economical to make – you can get 5 treat holders from one sheet of cardstock.

Pretty in Pink – 2” x 8” – with 8” edge at top – score at 3/4”, 2 3/4″, 3 1/4″
Basic White – 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″
In Color Designer Paper – Pretty in Pink stripe – 1 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ – with 5 1/2″ edge
at top – score at 1/2″, 2 1/2″, 3”, 5”

Easter Bunny’s Basket of Fun Begins

Easter is just over a week away, so I thought it was time Easter Bunny’s Basket of Fun begins. I plan to share one project each day leading up to Easter. Last week I shared the adorable bucket filled with 7 projects. Each bucket included
2024-2026 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper and In Color Shimmer Gems. The
In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper and In Color Shimmer Gems added such a pretty, sparkly touch to all the projects!

Project 1 is an adorable carrot box that held Foiled Chocolate Eggs.

Isn’t it adorable and it’s so quick and easy.

Measurements:
Pumpkin Pie – 3” x 10” – score at 5”; then mark top & bottom edge center (1 1/2”) – score diagonally from marking to 5” score line on both sides (4 total)
Shy Shamrock – 3/8” x 2 3/4″
Basic White – 1 1/4” x 2 3/4″
Shy Shamrock Ribbon – 7”

I didn’t know if everyone had a stamp set with Happy Easter stamps, so I printed Happy Easter on Basic White cardstock in my printer and die cut with Stylish Shapes Die. The little Easter Bunny on the front is an eraser – I found them at Dollar Tree. I used Mini Velcro dots to hold the sides of the box closed.
