Sunrise Sailing Birthday

Today’s Sunrise Sailing Birthday Card is a fabulous masculine card. It has some rugged embossing on it with a die cut sailboat using Floral in Blooms Designer Paper for the sails. The greeting is from the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. I LOVE this Ephemera Pack!! There are so many different greetings to cover all occasions.

The 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Cloud Cover or Secret Sea and the perfect finishing touch to the card.

Measurements:

Secret Sea – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″; 3″ x 4 1/4″; 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″
Cloud Cover — 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Basic White — 2 1/2″ x 2 3/4″; 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Florals in Bloom Designer Paper – Cloud Cover Stripe — 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″

1. Fold Secret Sea on score line
2. Emboss Cloud Cover with Birchwood 3D Embossing Folder
3. Adhere embossed Cloud Cover to card front
4. Emboss 2 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ Basic White with So Swirly Embossing Folder
5. Adhere to top of 3″ x 4 1/4″ Secret Sea, then adhere Happy Birthday label from Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack
6. Attach Secret Sea to card front with Dimensionals
7. Die cut smallest sailboat from 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ Secret Sea and sails from Florals in Bloom Designer Paper
8. Adhere sails to sailboat, then attach to card front with Dimensionals
9. Add 2025-2027 In Color Flat Dots — either Cloud Cover or Secret Sea
10. Adhere 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ Basic White inside card

Impressions Abloom & Florals in Bloom

Today’s card, Impressions Abloom & Florals in Bloom features fun new products from the Annual Catalog that started yesterday. The color combo of Petunia Pop and Bubble Bath came from the Florals in Bloom Designer Paper.

Impressions Abloom Dies, Florals in Bloom Designer Paper, Shades of Green Hexagons, Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, Thankful, Stamp with Peggy


MEASUREMENTS:

Petunia Pop — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 2 1/8″ & 4 1/4″; 3 1/2″ x 5″
Bubble Bath — 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″; 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White — 3 1/2″ x 5″; 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Lemon Lime Twist — 2″ x 3 1/2″
Floral in Blooms Designer Paper — 1 3/4″ x 5″

1. Fold Petunia Pop on score lines creating a Z-Fold
2. Adhere 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ Basic White to 4″ x 5 1/4″ Bubble Bath, then inside card
3. Adhere Designer Paper to 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ Bubble Bath, then to card front panel
4. Die cut 3 1/2″ x 5″ Petunia Pop with the Stitched oval Impressions Abloom Die and large and double flower petals from the center of the oval (you are only using the stitched rim)
5. Glue the stitched rim to the 3 1/2″ x 5″ Basic White, then fussy cut around the outside edge
6. Die the stems and leaves from Lemon Lime Twist
7. Adhere stems to flower petals, then to Basic White oval — Dimensionals under the flower petals
8. Adhere to card front panel
9. Attach greeting from Greetings for All Ephemera Pack with Dimensionals
10. Add Shades of Green Hexagon

May 2025 Card Sketch Challenge

So hard to believe it’s May already but that means it’s time for my May 2025 Card Sketch Challenge card and template. I love doing these challenges each month. The cards are so awesome and it’s great to see your interpretation of the card template. Here’s my card sample. I’m so happy Strawberry Slush has returned. It is a such great pink color – so bright and cheery.
