Santa’s Sleigh Framed Art

By now you know that I like to do
framed art paper crafting.
It is one of my favorite stamping
projects and most of my customers
love to do them too.

I was on Pinterest and saw a couple
different projects using Santa’s Sleigh
stamp set and the coordinating
Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits.

I knew I wanted to do a framed art
using this combo.
Here’s what we made at my
Mystery Class.
Santa's Sleigh Frame
I picked up some 5″ x 7″ frames
at the craft store — that was my starting point.
So I started with a 5″ x 7″ Real Red base.
Next a layer of Basic Black – 4 3/8″ x 6 3/8″
I stamped two trees with Garden Green ink
on Garden Green cardstock and cut out with
the thinlits.  I also cut out two
Early Espresso reindeer.
I cut out the full sleigh from Copper Foil Sheet
and the scroll part of the sleigh from
Real Red cardstock — attach red sleigh
to copper sleigh with “green” glue (Tombow Multipurpose Glue).
I did this by putting a pool of glue on scrap paper
and using a piece of sponge I dabbed glue on the
back of the red sleigh.
Stamp two bows with Real Red ink on Real Red cardstock
and cut out with thinlits.
I cut out a Whisper White circle using the Stitched Shapes
framelits (these are temporarily out of stock).
I stamped “Ho Ho Ho” with Real Red ink.

Then you are ready to assemble your framelit.
Have fun adjusting all the pieces to get the look you want.

Yummy Little Christmas

Do you like to give out yummy treats
over the Christmas season?
Today’s project is the perfect wrapping
for a yummy little treat.
I “cased” this project from the
Holiday Catalog — page 7.
I wanted my treat box to have a little
more Christmas flair so I switched out
the colors.

Made with Love
I added a cookie to one of our gusseted cello bags
and sealed the bag with a piece of Candy Cane Lane
Washi Tape.
Made with Love Cookie
Isn’t this just the cutest.
And it’s super simple to make.

Treat Holder Directions
1. Real Red – 4″ x 10″
score 1/2″ down each long edge
score at 4 3/4″ & 5 1/4″
snip little tabs.
Box Tabs
Add Tear & Tape to little tabs and long edges as shown.
Creating Box 1
Peel off white covering and fold tab up over edge
Creating Box 2
This helps give you a clean inside for putting treats — no tab to get stuck on
Creating Box 3
Peel off white covering and fold long edges over to create your box.

Now for the tag – Whisper White (2 3/8″ x 4″)
Use the Cheerful Tags framelits
Lay the tag over the cardstock as shown.
Tag 1
Place the top acrylic plate over the framelit
covering on the top scallop edge.
Tag 2
Run through Big Shot.
By placing the plate over only the scallop
edge, it will cut only that — not the score
line or the end of the tag.

Stamp tag with Yummy Little Christmas stamp set.
