Banners for You

Don't you love when Stampin' Up! comes out with a new stamp set AND it has a coordinating framelit set to make our lives so much easier.  I sure do!!!
Today's card features the Banners for You stamp set and the coordinating framelits, Bunch of Banners.  There are so many fun shaped banner framelits.

Banners for YouThe card base is Island Indigo — 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Next a layer of Whisper White — 4" x 5 1/4"
Blooms & Bliss designer paper is next.
I cut two different patterns.  Each paper is 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"

These are attached to the Whisper White layer and a 5" piece of Mint Macaron 3/8" Sheer Ribbon is laid across the center and attached to the back.

On a 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the banner with Island Indigo ink.
Stamp the words with Basic Gray.  Cut out with the framelit and attach to the card front with dimensionals.

Look at there faces — what a great time we had.

When they arrived I had a gift for each person.
They each received some of the Serene Scenery designer paper,
color coordinated cardstock and ribbons all tied up in a cello bag.
I also had this cute Popcorn box filled with trail mix for them.
I used the new Ready to Pop stamp set and
coordinating Popcorn thinlit die.  So adorable.

Moroccan Nights Banners

Today’s card has a perfect masculine color scheme — Delightful Dijon, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla.  This is a strong combination and blended together very well.
Moraccan Nights & BannersThe card base is Very Vanilla with a layer of Delightful Dijon that was embossed using the Elegant Dots embossing folder.  We used 1/2″ strips of assorted Moroccan Nights designer paper and the Triple Banner Punch to create five double ended banners of varying lengths.  The banner and greeting is from Thoughtful Banners stamp set and is stamped with Early Espresso ink and punched out using the Duet Banner punch.

Very clean and simple and perfect for that man in your life.
