Way To Go!!

I came home from Stampin' Up!'s On Stage Live 2016 event last night.
The weather when I got home was wonderful — very different
from what we left behind in Salt Lake City.

Today's card is another card I received from my upline,
who is also my sister.  She sent cards out for sales, recruits,
etc. that happened over the past three month.
I had a pretty good Sale-a-Bration.

Here's the card that Tina sent me.
Way to Go
It reminds me of all the wonderful flowers that are
beginning
to bloom all around me.

Over the past couple of days I told you all about
the fun we had at our On Stage Live event.
I told you about the honor of receiving
the Heart of Stampin' Up! award.
I wanted to share with you the beautiful necklace
that I received from Shelli Gardner and Stampin' Up!

Isn't it beautiful.

On Stage Ends

It's a sad day — On Stage Live has ended. I had such a great time. The Stampin' Up! Events are always fun but it's always more special to attend with my sister and my daughter. It's such a FUN girls getaway. It was definitely a mother/daughter time — check it out. Here is Shelli Gardner and Sara Douglass (Shelli is the Co-Founder and Board Member and Sara is the CEO of Stampin' Up!).

And here is a selfie Katie took of her and I.

We ended our night with a fabulous dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. I love the time spent with Tina and Katie.
I think I already told you I received my new catalog — WOW is the best way to describe it. I can't wait to start sharing it with you but not for a bit yet. The retired list will come out tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. I will post it for you as soon as I can. Remember those In Colors are leaving and they WILL sell out quickly.
Time to get ready for my flight home. See many of you soon.

Balloon Builders Birthday Card

I'm in Salt Lake City for Stampin' Up!'s On Stage Live Event (similar to Convention). It has been an amazing couple of days. This has been the best Stampin' Up! Event in a long, long time. The energy level is VERY HIGH. We started Thursday afternoon with a live band — they did a great job. Our CEO, Sara Douglass (Shelli's daughter) welcomed everyone and did a wonderful job welcoming us all. She then introduced her mom, the Co-Founder of Stampin' Up! Shelli has been gone for the past year on a mission trip for her church, so everyone was thrilled to have her back.
Then we moved on to some wonderful stamping demonstrations. I qualified to attend a special dinner and dueling piano performance that night.
Yesterday was another fun filled day of demonstration and training. But the best part of the whole day was when I was presented with the Heart of Stampin' Up! Award. Sara & Shelli choose one demonstrator from all the nominees to receive this award that embodies what Stampin' Up! is all about.
It was unreal when Shelli read a portion of one of my nomination letters and she called out my name. I really didn't think I heard it right. I don't like pictures of myself, and I was doing the "ugly" cry, but here I am on stage with Shelli Gardner.

Here is another wonderful birthday card that I received.
My friend, Cheri, gave me this fun card.
I did purchase the Balloon Builders stamp set
but have not used it yet — it's time to get it out.

Cheri's CardCheri used neutral colors for the card — Tip Top Taupe (I think she
knows how much I like this color), Early Espresso and Whisper White.
She stamped some of the heart shaped balloons with Tip Top Taupe ink.
She added the regular shaped balloons and then added what I
call the "jelly beans" for doggy ears.  She also added darker
circle stamps for the doggy muzzle and nose.
She finished the card off with some cute little Melon Mambo
hearts from the Beautiful Ride stamp set.

Thank you Cheri — you have inspired me to play with my stamp set.
