Timeless Textures & Flower Shop

A little more of that vintage/shabby chic look for you today.
I've already said many times how much I LOVE the
Timeless Textures stamp set.  Well this card is a
perfect example of why I love it so much.
Look at everything going on — love it!!!!
This beautiful card also uses the Flower Shop stamp set
and B.Y.O.P. stamp set.

I love the color combination — Wisteria Wonder,
So Saffron and Old Olive.
The base is Wisteria Wonder with a layer of Whisper White.

The filigree image from Timeless Textures is stamped twice in the
upper left corner with VersaMark ink and embossed with
White embossing powder.  Then it is stamped three more
times but with Old Olive ink.  Old Olive ink is also used with
a Sponge Dauber to add color around the embossed image.
Then the mesh image is stamped repeatedly with So Saffron ink.

Thanks so Much is from B.Y.O.P. and is stamped in the
lower corner with Wisteria Wonder ink.
Next on scrap Whisper White cardstock stamp the
flower from Flower Shop twice with Wisteria Wonder ink
and once with So Saffron ink.
Punch out with the coordinating Pansy Punch.
Also punch out the flower centers with the flower punch from
the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (retiring).
Don't forget to add Rhinestones in the flower centers.

I can't wait to make up a few of these beautiful cards.

May Scrapbook Pages

Tuesday night was my Scrap & Go Club.
We gather together each month to create
two 12" x 12" pages.
This month I was thinking of feminine designs
to coordinate with Mother's Day.
They could put any pictures on these pages but
they would go especially well with all the
Mother/Daughter pictures or family pictures
celebrating Mom.

We used Wisteria Wonder and Smoky Slate for our color palette.
The stamp set was Beautiful Bunch and the Fun Flower
coordinating punch — both items are on the retiring list.

We added 1/2" banners which we punched using the
Hexagon Punch (retiring)
and Neutrals Color Collection Designer Paper.
We tucked a Tea Lace Paper Doily (retiring) under
the bottom mats to help with the feminine feel of the pages.
We also added assorted sizes of Pearls to the flower centers.
Across the center we put Everyday Chic Silver Metallic
Washi Tape
on Wisteria Wonder cardstock and attached to the page.

Here is the second page.
We used all the same elements on this page except
we changed the designer paper to the Subtles Color Collection
using the Wisteria Wonder pieces.

Items on the Retiring List are selling out so get those items
ordered so you don't miss out.

Vintage Butterfly

This was one of the cards I saw on a display board
at On Stage last month.
I love all the different texture looks on the card.
The stamp set used is Butterfly Basics.
Butterfly Basics Vintage

They started by stamping the fern once with VersaMark ink
and embossing it with White Embossing Powder.
Next it has a wash of Early Espresso, going over
the embossed fern.
Then stamped
the speckles from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.
The fern is stamped again with full strength
Early Espresso ink and then stamped again without
reinking the stamp.
Stamp the postage seal with Early Espresso ink.

A butterfly is cut from Tip Top Taupe cardstock using the
Butterflies Thinlit.  Attach it to the card with
dimensionals.
Cut two pieces of 1/2″ Whisper White Seam Binding Ribbon
and using Linen Thread tie a bow and the White Ribbon.
Attach to the butterfly with glue dots.
