All God’s Grace Thank You

Last month I shared a Baptism card that my
daughter Katie made using All God’s Grace stamp set.

Today I’m sharing a Thank You card that
she made using the same stamp set.
I have come to believe this is a MUST
have stamp set for everyone.
Communion Thank YouThe base is a Whisper White Note Card.
She used Mint Macaron ink with Gorgeous Grunge
stamp set to stamp the speckles all over the card front.
She added a layer of Basic Black and Mint Macaron
cardstock across the center.
She stamped the cross with Mint Macaron ink
and punched it out with the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch.
Stamp Thank You with Memento ink and
attached the circle with dimensionals.

This card is quick to assemble and you are
ready to pop them in the mail — quick and simple.

What a Great Weekend!!!

My favorite times besides stamping are those
spent with my family.  This weekend was
exactly what I needed.
I spent Saturday and Sunday morning with
my mom and dad.  It was great to be with
mom on Mother's Day!  She helped make me
into the person I am today.  She has always
been there for me and my siblings.
My sister Tina posted this picture yesterday
and I had to snag it to share with you all too.
Mom, Tina, Bunny & I
This is my mom with my sister Tina, my brother Bun and me.
My brother David wasn't born yet so he's not in the picture.
Don't you love the saddle shoes — this picture would be about 1965.

After we left mom's Sunday we stopped at my daughter Katie's
and spent some time with her and her family.
My hubby, Tony, took his guitar and they all had
a jam session — it was a fun way to spend Mother's Day.
Tony & Bubba
Here is Tony with our oldest grandson Scott (aka Bubba).
They were playing "What Do Ya' Do With a Drunkin' Sailor".
Katie's other son, Shawn, was singing while these two played guitars.
Not sure it was too appropriate but the boys had a great time with it.

Apparently guitar playing looked like so much fun that
Shawn decided to give it a try too.
Katie, Shawn & Scott
Here's Scott and Katie giving direction and watching him.

They are all working on campfire songs for our
family camping weekend this summer.

Only thing missing was my son, Phillip's family.
I did hear from them today but they live too far away.
We will see them soon.

Here is the card Katie gave me today.

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother's Day to all!!!
I hope the day is whatever you want it to be.
I will spend part of the day with my mom and
part of it with my daughter and her family.
The only thing better would be seeing my son and
his family but I'm sure we will Facetime tonight.
Today's card is for all the moms and wanna be moms.
The card is made using the Birthday Blooms stamp set.

Mother's Day logo
The card base is Black with a layer of Whisper White
on both the front and the inside of the card.
There is a strip of Timeless Elegance designer paper
down the left side.
Decorative Dots embossing folder was used on the
next layer of Whisper White cardstock and attached
to Basic Black.
The flower is stamped with VersaMark ink and
embossed with Black embossing powers
and then colored in with Blush Clear Wink of Stella
was added to the flower petals.
This was punched out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch
and attached to a Black circle that was cut using
the Circle Collections Framelits (both the punch and
framelits are retiring — get them now).

The For You sentiment works for many occasions
but will work great for a Mother's Day card with
a little treat inside.

LOVE YOU MOM!!!
