All God’s Grace

Yesterday I showed you the beautiful baptism card that
my daughter made.  Here's the other card that she
designed — this is the card that she used.
She used All God's Grace stamp set for this card too
along with Gorgeous Grunge. 
That is a MUST have stamp set.
Blotchy BaptismToday's card uses the Thick Whisper White cardstock
for the card base.
Then she added a layer of Pink Pirouette and
then a layer of Whisper White for the stamping.
She used Pink Pirouette ink to stamp two
blotches from Gorgeous Grunge.  She added
three little hearts in Pink Pirouette.
Then she stamped the little sprinkles in
Smoky Slate ink.
The cross is stamped with Memento ink and a
tiny heart added to the middle of the cross with
Pink Pirouette ink — look she even added a little
pearl in the middle of the heart — so adorable.

This time she stamped For You Baptism on
banners and added to the card front.
She stamped the dove and punched it out with
the 1" circle punch.  This is attached to a
1 1/8" Pink Pirouette Scalloped Circle.
Don't forget the Silver Metallic Thread.
Those little loops of silver finish the card off
just right.

For Your Baptism Starburst

Today I have a featured artist — Katie Campbell.
Katie is my daughter and she made this beautiful card.
My great niece was baptized on Saturday.
Katie was Leah’s Godmother.
She made two wonderful cards and asked which
I liked better.  This was my first choice.
I asked if I could have the card she didn’t use as
I hadn’t made a card for Miss Leah yet.
WOOHOO — I got to use my favorite!!!
What a sweet daughter.
Burst of BaptismSo, on to the card.
Katie used the All God’s Grace stamp set
along with Kinda Ecletic stamp set for the starburst.
She started with a Basic Gray base,
added a layer of Blushing Bride and then
stamped on a piece of Whisper White.
She stamped the starburst with VersaMark ink
and embossed with White embossing powder.
Then she sponged Blushing Bride ink around the starburst.

She stamped For Your Baptism with Blushing Bride ink.
She stamped the cross and dove with Memento ink
and cut out with Paper Snips.
She attached a Silver Metallic Doily
and attached the cross over the doily with
dimensionals.  She punched a Blushing Bride
heart using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and attached
it with a dimensional.   She also used a dimensional
to attach the dove (I taught her well — more
dimensionals is a good thing).
I love the last little detail — three little pearls
at the bottom corner — so sweet.

I just love this card and am so proud of the
great job Katie did on this card.

Happy Birthday Robin!!!!

Today's card is for a special friend, Robin!!!
It's a special birthday this year and I wanted to be
sure she knows it's TIME TO CELEBRATE!!!
Time to CelebrateThis card uses the Party with Cake bundle.
It is the stamp set and the coordinating framelits
which help make the card extra special.

The card base is Blushing Bride with a layer of
Whisper White that was embossed with the
Decorative Dots embossing folder.
We used Love Blossoms designer paper to create
the banners down the front.  Don't forget
to add a piece of the Early Espresso 1/2" Seam Binding
across the middle.

We inked up the stamp with Early Espresso and
Blushing Bride markers.  We used the
Project Life Corner Round Punch on all four
sides of both the Whisper White and the
Early Espresso layers and attached with
dimensionals.

I love how the cake POPS right out of the card.
Don't you love the sparkle for the cake plate — that's
Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.
We sponger Blushing Bride over the Happy
and Crumb Cake over the Birthday to
help it pop out a bit more.

I hope Robin enjoys this card
and I hope she has the BEST
birthday ever.
