More Fun with Rainbow Celebration Kit

Today I’m having a little more fun with Rainbow Celebration Kit. This time I added the Darling Dinos stamp set for a fun birthday card. These little dinos are SO cute.

I cut the rainbow card on the score line, using the rainbow portion on the front of the card. Then I used the white side of the second half to stamp the dinos, balloons and greeting banner. It’s SO cute.
I cut off the bottom of the rainbow section, making it 3 3/4″ tall (save the cut off piece to decorate the inside of the card).



Measurements:
Thick Basic White — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Basic Black — 4″ x 5 1/4″; 3/4″ x 3″
Rainbow Celebration Card Base — cut in half on score line
Trim rainbow front to 3 3/4″ tall
Use plain half to stamp with Memento ink — before stamping cut off 1/2″ x 3″ piece for greeting, then stamp 2 dinos, 3 balloons, bow and birthday hat

1. Color dinos with Stampin’ Blends — Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Gray Granite and Lemon Lime Twist
2. Die cut pieces
3. Adhere Rainbow card front to Basic Black then to card base
4. Stamp balloon strips
5. Attach dinos and balloons with Dimensionals
6. Stamp greeting with Memento ink — angle trim ends
7. Adhere to Basic Black — angle trim ends
8. Attach greeting to card front with Dimensionals
9. Add Ombre Matte Decorative Dots
10. Add strip that was cut front rainbow front to the inside of card

Rainbow Celebration Z-Fold

I had so much fun making this Rainbow Celebration Z-Fold card with the Rainbow Celebration Kit from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure. You can choose this kit FREE when you place a $60 order. This kit is great for making quick and easy cards. You get all the supplies including Dimensionals to make 6 fun rainbow cards. I decided I wanted to do something a little different with this kit.


Isn’t this adorable? I cut one of the rainbow cards in half on the score line. Next, I cut the rainbow piece into two pieces for this great Rainbow Celebration Z-Fold card. The left part of the card opens up with the larger part of the rainbow on the left side. I even added a little leftover strip that was cut from bottom of rainbow.



Here’s a second card using a different rainbow card with Lemon Lime Twist card base.





Measurements:

Coastal Cabana — 4 1/4″ x 11″ — score at 2 1/4″ and 5 1/2″; 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
Basic Black — 3″ x 4″; 2 1/8″ x 4″; 1/2″ x 2 3/8″
Basic White — 3″ x 4″
Rainbow Celebration Kit: 1 Cardbase, 1 Colored Rainbow Arch, 1 Cloud,
1 Greeting Strip

Everyday Arches – Simply Fantastic

I’ve been busy planning for a couple of large events so today I am sharing the Everyday Arches – Simply Fantastic card, featuring the Everyday Arches Bundle (stamp set and dies) with the Everyday Skies Designer Paper.

The two layers of Basic White keep the card simple even though the top layer of Basic White is embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder for nice texture on the card.

I’ve have issues with my computer right now so I can’t attach a PDF but here are the instructions to make this fantastic card yourself.

Measurements:
  • Thick Basic White:  5 1/2” x 8 1/2” – score at 4 1/4”
  • Basic White: 3 3/4” x 5”
  • Azure Afternoon:  3 3/4” x 5”
  • Everyday Skies Designer Series Paper:  3 5/8” x 4 7/8”
  • Ribbon – 8”

Instructions:
1. Add Two Toned Sparkle Gems to the front of the card
2. Fold Basic White card base on score line
3. Die cut 3 3/4″ x 5” Basic White with Everyday Arches Die — 4th smallest die
4. Stamp the sentiment with Azure Afternoon ink around the arch opening
5. Emboss with folder and run Exposed Bricked 3D Embossing Folder
6. Die cut Azure Afternoon with Everyday Arches Die – 3rd smallest die
7. Adhere the Azure Afternoon card stock to the Basic White card stock lining up the arches
8. Adhere Designer Series Paper to the back of the Azure Afternoon arch
9. Stamp the birds with Azure Afternoon ink and attach to the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
10. Tie a bow from 8” of ribbon and attach to the card using Mini Glue Dot
