Lots of Joy

Here's another Christmas in July card.
Another new Christmas stamp set — Lots of Joy.
Lots of JoyLots of layers and texture for this card.
The base is Cherry Cobbler with a layer of Smoky Slate that's been embossed
with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.
I added a layer of the Merry Moments DSP that I punched one end using
the Triple Banner Punch — I adhered a strip of Old Olive cardstock
across the middle of the Merry Moments DSP Banner.
Stamp Merry & Bright with Cherry Cobbler ink on the lower corner of
Whisper White cardstock.  Stamp the tree image with Old Olive ink and
punch out with the Tree Punch.  Adhere to the word layer with dimensionals.

Wild About Flowers

Here's another fun way to use the Wild About Flowers stamp set.
I love the Lots of Labels Framelits — I have used them a ton already.
Wild About FlowersI used the same color combination as the other day — Wisteria Wonder,
Pear Pizzazz and Elegant Eggplant.
I embossed the Pear Pizzazz layer with the Elegant Dots embossing folder.
I stamped the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink and the flowers with
Wisteria Wonder ink.  I tied a bow in a piece of Wisteria Wonder
1/2" seam binding and wrapped around the labels.
Don't forget to use dimensionals to "pop" the label up a bit.
Pretty quick to make a bunch of these cards — no greeting so use it for
all occasions.

Awesomely Artistic Friends

This month's Stamp of the Month Class features the Awesomely Artistic stamp set.
This set is amazing.  There are so many possibilities.
This card was a sample that we made at this month's
Stamp & Go Hostess Club Classes.
Awesomely ArtisticThe base of the card is Watermelon Wonder with a layer of Tip Top Taupe.
For the white layer I used Stampin' Up!s Shimmer Cardstock to add a little
glimmer to the card.  On a small piece of the Shimmer cardstock I stamped the
label with Tip Top Taupe ink and FRIEND with Watermelon Wonder ink.
I also stamped the dragonfly with Watermelon Wonder ink.
We cut the dragonfly out with paper snips.  The label was cut out using
the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits.
We inked up the "splotches" and burlap stamps with Tip Top Taupe ink
and stamped off before stamping on the Shimmer cardstock.
The flowers were stamped with full strength Tip Top Taupe ink.
Next I used the Watermelon Wonder marker to color in a few flowers.
Then with a sponge dauber and Watermelon Wonder ink I lighted dabbed
on a bit of color and then assemble the card.
I used dimensionals to add the dragonfly and label.
