The Watercolor Wings stamp set has very quickly become a favorite set
for my stampers. The best part — it comes in a bundle.
The Bold Butterfly framelit coordinates wonderfully and when
purchased as a bundle you save 15% — don't you love a sale.
The base of this card is the Thick Whisper White cardstock.
I added a layer of Mint Macaron and then a layer of Smoky Slate.
I stamped the border image from the Watercolor Wings stamp set using
Smoky Slate ink.
Have you tried the Triple Banner Punch yet — love it!!!
I used that on the piece of 2015-2017 In Color DSP — Mint Macaron to
punch the banner end on each of the DSP strip.
I added a piece of the wonderful 1" Mint Macaron Lace Trim over the banner.
I stamped the full butterfly image with Mint Macaron ink that was stamped off.
Then I stamped the outer edges stamp using Mint Macaron ink full strength.
Last I stamped the inside image using Smoky Slate ink.
Cut out with the coordinating Bold Butterfly framelit, then stamp the body
of the butterfly with Smoky Slate ink.
I popped the butterfly up with dimensionals and last I stamped "Just for You"
with Memento Black ink.
Friends are the Spice of Life
This card has lots of layers — you know I like layers!!!
The base of the card is Mossy Meadow with a layer of Smoky Slate.
I added a layer of Rose Red (I know, when was the last time you used that color).
I applied a strip of the wonderful In Color Washi Tape (love that stuff)
across the center of the Whisper White layer.
Ink up the words with the Smoky Slate and Rose Red markers
and stamp, centering at the bottom.
I cut out Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White layers using the Lots of Labels framelits.
I inked up the stamp with markers — Mossy Meadow, Smoky Slate and Rose Red.
I am loving this stamp set — these kinds of flowers I can keep alive.
Garden in Bloom Elegance
This was another fun card we made at my Bingo Night Monday night.
Watermelon Wonder has become one of my favorite colors and I love
how it pairs with Basic Black — they just "pop" together.
The base of this card is the new Thick Whisper White cardstock.
I used the Elegant Dots embossing folder on the Watermelon Wonder cardstock.
I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 2" x 4 1/4" and punched one end
using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.
I stamped the center of the flower image from Garden in Bloom stamp set
with Watermelon Wonder ink — next I stamped the flower outline
with Memento ink. I stamped the small oval image in the center of the
flower with Watermelon Wonder ink (fills in the center white spot).
I added a large White Perfect Accent in the center of the flower.
The "a Happy Hello" are from the Tin of Cards stamp set.
Of course I used dimensionals to pop us the tag.
I love the look of this card and everyone finished it pretty quick.
