I love the color combinations in this card.
The stamp set is Gifts from the Garden — isn't is adorable.
The card base is Tip Top Taupe with layers of Marina Mist and Whisper White.
Mossy Meadow cardstock was cut out with the Lots of Label Framelits (yes, this
is my new favorite framelit). We inked up the flowers and pots with markers
(Marina Mist, Mossy Meadow and Tip Top Taupe).
Cut the stamped image out with a smaller Lots of Label Framelit.
Adhere a small bow tied with the Linen Thread.
Stamp "friendship is the SPICE of life".
Add a piece of the In Color Washi Tape and adhere the labels to the
card front with dimensionals.
Garden in Bloom
I love embossing folders — I love to add texture to almost every card.
This card features one of our new embossing folders – Elegant Dots.
It's fun and elegant at the same time.
I think it adds an interesting look to this card.
The stamp set used is Garden in Bloom — it's a 2-step stamp.
The photopolymer stamp works so well for this style of stamping.
I stamped the outline images first and then the inside with the same color.
The designer paper strip is from Pretty Petals DSP Stack.
Notice how the DSP runs under the stamped flower cardstock and
then back up on the right side of the cardstock.
I used the paper trimmer to cut the slit and then I could slide the
DSP back up through the slit before adhering to the card front.
Get Well Michelle
This card is for my friend Michelle.
We love to joke about making Chicken Soup for each other when we are sick.
Neither one of us makes homemade Chicken Soup.
When the new catalog came out I thought this stamp set was perfect
for her recovery.
The card base is Watermelon Wonder (my favorite new In Color).
I cut out a piece of Watermelon Wonder using the Striped Scallop Thinlit
and glued that to the Whisper White cardstock.
I stamped the Get Well Soup stamp on Whisper White and cut out with
the Lots of Labels Framelits. I stamped the Soup image on a second
piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut out with Paper Snips and
adhered over the first stamped image with dimensionals.
I used the new Updated Essentials Paper Piercing Mat to poke holes
around the label.
I hope Michelle enjoys this card.
