Christmas in July

One of may favorite things about the new Stampin' Up! catalog is they put
Christmas stamps in there again — YAY!!!
I know it's only July but I thought is might be time for a little Christmas in July.
Every BlessingI love that we have a fabulous religious stamp set.
The base of this card is Marina Mist.
We cut an oval opening in the card front using the Oval Collection Framelits.
Then the front of the card was embossed with the Elegant Dots embossing folder
(I told you this was my favorite).
The shepherd image was stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Marina Mist ink and then adhered inside the card.
Stamp the words on a strip of Whisper White cardstock with Marina Mist ink and trim
the ends for a banner.  Attach across the front of the card with a dimensional on each end of the banner.
I can't wait to mass produce a few of these cards.<

Birthday Sprinkles

Cupcakes, balloons and lots of cheery, bright colors.
That's what this card is all about.
Katie's SwapThis was a card that I received in a demonstrator swap last month.
It was made by my daughter, Katie, who has been a demonstrator for almost
10 years now.  The base of the card is Thick Whisper White cardstock.
She added a layer of Early Espresso and then added squares and rectangles
of the Cherry on Top DSP.  She added a couple strips of the Cherry on Top
Washi Tape.  She cut out a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock using the
Deco Label framelits.  A 2" circle of Whisper White is added and then the
adorable cupcake is on top of that.
This card is so cute and the Sprinkles of Life stamp set and coordinating
Tree Builder Punch make is so quick and easy to do.

Happy 4th of July

Since today is the 4th of July I thought this card was very appropriate.
This was one of the cards that my sister, Tina, designed for our
Demo Make & Take last month.

Isn't this so fun.
She stamped the Brushstrokes background with Real Red ink onto Whisper
White cardstock.  She stamped the star image from You're So Sweet using
VersaMark ink and White embossing powder on a piece of Night of Navy cardstock.  Then she cut out the center of the star using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits — there is a star in that set.  Then she used dimensionals to adhere the Night of Navy piece
to a piece of Whisper White cardstock and adhered that to the front of the card.

But that's not all.  Check out the inside of this card.

ADORABLE!!
She used the Confetti Stars Border punch along the bottom of the
Whisper White cardstock and added a piece of Real Red 1/4" ribbon
that has a bow tied in the center — cute.
