Today is my husband's birthday so to celebrate here's a
birthday cupcake made using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.
The card base is Tip Top Taupe with a layer of Whisper White, then a layer
of Early Espresso and Mint Macaron that is embossed with the
Decorative Dots embossing folder.
Banners are Tip Top Taupe and a piece of Neutrals Designer Paper Stack.
Don't forget to use the fabulous new Banner Punch to make those banners.
The cupcake wrapper is Tip Top Taupe ink stamped on Tip Top Taupe cardstock.
The cupcake icing is Mint Macaron stamped on Whisper White cardstock —
don't forget to add those chocolate sprinkles (my hubby loves those).
I think the saying is great too.
The Sprinkles of Life stamp set is a must have for everyone.

Birthday Candles
The Cherry on Top Washi Tape is fabulous.
Just like the Cherry on Top Designer Paper, the color combinations
are awesome. They are so bright and cherry.
This card features the Build a Birthday Stamp Set and the
Cherry on Top Washi Tape.
The card base is Bermuda Bay with a layer of Whisper White.
The Cherry on Top Washi Tape has five different patterns — we used
three of them for this card. Just lay the washi tape across the
Whisper White cardstock at a little bit of a diagonal.
Stamp "birthday wishes" in Bermuda Bay ink on the lower right corner.
The Bermuda Bay circle was cut out using the Circle Collections Framelits.
Stamp the candles in Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Bermuda Bay.
The flames are Crushed Curry. Punch out with the 2 1/2" circle punch.
This card is very quick and simple to whip together in just a few minutes.
Gifts from the Garden
At our Demo event Friday night we do a card swap.
Fourteen people participated in the swap using brand new stamp sets.
This is one of my favorite things to do — I love to see what stamp sets
everyone uses and the wonderful ideas to create their cards.
This was the card that I designed for the swap.
I like to use different folds on my cards.
This card is the "Z" fold.
You start with a piece of cardstock that is 4 1/2" x 11".
Score it at 5 1/2" and 8 1/4" — fold the card in half and then fold the
short section back.
I used Bohemian Borders stamp set for the trim on the Whisper White card inside.
The designer paper on the front is English Garden.
The stamp set is Gifts from the Garden.
I inked up the flowers using Old Olive and Melon Mambo markers and
stamped the images on Whisper White cardstock.
I cut the image out using the Lots of Labels Framelits.
Cut out a larger label from Melon Mambo cardstock.
I inked up the flower pots using the Basic Grey and Old Olive marker and stamped again on Whisper White cardstock — cut them out with Paper Snips.
Adhere just below the flowers with dimensionals.
I inked up the words with the Old Olive and Melon Mambo markers and stamped
just below the flower pots.
Tie a tiny bow from White Baker's Twine and adhere with a Glue Dot.
I attached the labels to the card using dimensionals only on the left side of the label.
