Fright Night

Only 3 more sleeps as the kids say until Halloween Night arrives.  Let's see if I can stay away from Christmas for a few days and post only Halloween projects for 4 days in a row.

Fright Night FrameThis is a project that I did for a Downline Getaway Weekend.  I cut the supplies and brought the frames with — everyone got to stamp and assemble it.  This was one of 10 projects to work on over the weekend.

I used Freaky Friends, Frightful Wreath and Tee-Hee-Hee stamp sets.

It’s Pumpkin Time

Saturday was my Fall Fest Retreat.  My daughter, Katie, came to help me for the day.  Her husband and their two sons came to "help" grandpa while we were busy stamping.  BUT when we got home that night we had a busy time.  We had to cook dinner, carve pumpkins, roast pumpkin seeds, and watch Halloween shows.

Here's a couple pictures of the pumpkin carving — can you believe I forgot to take pictures of the finished pumpkins!!

Grandpa & Boys ShawnThen this morning we baked Pumpkin Cookies before they went home.  It was a good weekend.  Tomorrow I'll post some of the card swaps from Saturday's Fall Fest Retreat.

Fall Fest Retreat

Today was my Fall Fest Retreat. A full day of stamping with 18 wonderful ladies. Here is a picture of everyone standing in line waiting to get into the room. Do they look excited and ready to start stamping.

I can't give lots of details on the projects because my sister Tina is doing her retreat in 2 weeks. After her event I'll of the projects. I can tell you everyone had a fabulous day filled with plenty of stamping and gifts. We had a card swap and twelve of the ladies participated. They each designed a card and made 13 of the card, one to trade with the other eleven ladies, one to keep and one for the card contest, which I got to keep. I will share those swap cards with you over the next few days. This pictures shows them trading their cards.
