Diamond Head — I Did It!!

Aloha from Hawaii. The weather is great — blue skies and sunshine (well most of the time — had a few rounds of heavy sprinkles Thursday). One of the things that my husband Tony wanted to do while in Honolulu was to hike Diamond Head, so that was one of the excursions that we signed up for. Thursday morning we took a short bus ride to the base of Diamond Head and spent the next hour and a half hiking to the top.

This is a picture of part of the trail. I was exhausted by the time we finished but it was amazing!!!

It was a great trip — I had in close to 10,000 steps by 9:00 a.m. — that's a first for me.

New Goodies!!!

As I sit on the beach in sunny Hawaii, look what I have with me.
That's right my very own copy of the new Annual Catalog.

but it is packed full of lots and lots of fun new toys.
Look, my first boxes full of goodies has arrived.

I can't wait to get back from the trip so I can start playing with new things.
I want to try out the new In Colors — so pretty.
As always it takes a little coaxing with the new In Colors — it is a change and
some of us don't do well with change but I promise once we start
using them we will all wonder how we did without them.
I've already seen some of these colors in the new clothing lines so they are
definitely right on track with the colors.
