Ornament Pines Screen Card

Screen Cards — they are all the rage in card making right now.  I saw samples of this card technique all over Pinterest.  I saw one done with the Ornamental Pines stamp set and I just had to give it a try.

Pines Screen
This was one of the cards we made at my Stamp & Go Clubs the past two nights.  They loved this card — there is a little more detail to it but it is very simple to do using the Decorative Label punch to create the "legs" on the bottom of the card.  I also used the new Confetti Stars Punch along the top edge.  Then just stamp the pine boughs "all over" the cardstock.  I stamped the ornaments with Versa Mark and then heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder.

Give it a try — let me know if you need any help.  This card technique is quite fun and will definitely make everyone stop to look at the card.

Spooky Halloween House

I didn't know if I liked this Holiday Home stamp set but as usual when I start playing with it, oh my goodness, so much fun!!!  This card was cased from a fellow demonstrator (I apologize I don't remember who it was — I looked at a lot of things on our demonstrator only Stampin' Connection website).  I made a few small changes but I loved how this card turned out.Happy Halloween HouseIt really does say Halloween to me — in a cute, scary way.
