This card was made using the Back to Black designer paper — remember you can get it FREE this month. I cased this card from fellow demonstrator, Mary Fish — I made a couple of tweaks to make it my own.
I used the Large Polka Dot embossing Folder for the white layer with a layer of Bermuda Bay behind it. The Back to Black designer paper was punched out with the Postage Stamp punch and those squares were adhered with dimensionals for some added dimension.
The Big News stamp set is amazing. It has words and images for birthdays, babies, congratulations, weddings and "no limit to your AWESOMENESS"!! So many different events in everyone's life.
The base of this card is Basic Grey with a layer of Real Red, and Smokey Slate which was embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder. The "It's Your Birthday" was stamped with Real Red ink.
The designer paper used is called Flash Back. You could get it FREE — July's special is purchase THREE designer papers and get ONE FREE.
I added a strip of Washi Tape for a little extra pizzazz.
The more I play with the Flamingo Lingo stamp set the more I like it. This little guy has so much pizzazz. I used the Back to Black designer paper on these cards to help her/him "pop" off the page. The put a piece of Whisper White cardstock inside the card and I stamped a row of three flamingo on the inside of the card to help dress up the card. LOVE IT!!
