Convention doors opened at 8:00 this morning and the General Session started at 8:30. It was another busy day — my head is full of fun ideas. We had plenty of make and take time today, some class time a nice lunch at Cheesecake Factory. After our last class of the day we headed back to the hotel to rest for a couple of minutes and then we quick changed clothes to be ready for the Awards Night but first a fabulous dinner at the Melting Pot.
The Awards Night was. There were astounding numbers announced tonight. These women and one man are a great inspiration to me.
I do want to thank you all of you for helping me earn a couple of awards this year. I was able to go into a special recognition room and they took our pictures with signs of the awards we had earned.

THANK YOU — here's to another great year.
Convention Begins

Today was the first day of convention. Here are only a few of the people standing in line this morning waiting for the doors to open for General Session. There are about 4,000 demonstrators here in Salt Lake City for 3 fun filled days.

Here are 4 of us sitting in the hall waiting for everything to begin. This is my upline and sister Tina, my downline and daughter Katie, and downline member America, downline member Jenn was taking the picture. We had one more team member coming in from Alaska but she couldn't make it until about noon. She was even a lucky winner this morning.
After the General Session we split up to attend different classes. Tina, Katie and I went on to our first Make & Take session. Then we looked at displays of Holiday catalog goodies. You are going to LOVE the new Holiday Catalog. It is available beginning August 28th. Lots of fun classes to start planning.
Convention Arrival
So we arrived in Salt Lake City this morning. What a beautiful day — sun shine and very warm temps.
We went to see a movie this afternoon — so much fun to just sit and relax.
Tonight was check in time — I stood in line FOR EVER to get my convention bag. This year's bag is much smaller than in the past. But it is pretty cool — it's intended to carry an iPad or tablet — how awesome is that. Here's what it looks like:

I also received THREE stamp sets — Kinda Eclectic, Amazing Birthday and Seasonal Scattered (which will be in the Holiday catalog in September.
