Meant to Bee Stadium Wave

Oh, what fun I had with this Meant to Bee stadium wave fun fold card. The card features the Meant to Bee Stamp Set and Dies with the Cute as Can Bee Designer Paper. I saw stadium wave cards done by a couple other demonstrators a year or two ago and I HAD to give this a try. It has such a WOW factor that it is worth a little extra postage to mail or better yet and a gift and really surprise the recipient.

Meant to Bee Bundle, Meant to Bee Stamp Set, Meant to Bee Dies, Cute as Can Bee Designer Paper, Everyday Arches Dies, Tiny Bees Trinkets, Stadium Wave Fun Fold, Stamp with Peggy

The front of the card is SO CUTE but just wait — the belly band with the honeycomb slides off the card.

I love the Petunia Pop with white flowers — such a great Spring color.
Are you ready for the inside?

As you open the card, the bees pop up one at a time. It looks the wave that used to be done at ball games (you still see it every now and then. Oh, these bees are so cute on the Petunia Pop plaid designer paper strips and those honey puts — so cute. I used the Everyday Arches Dies to add a spot to sign your name on the card. Of course, I had to add the bee stitch lines and some little flowers to finish off the inside.

The Meant to Bee Bundle is awesome. You get two sizes of bees and wings, and the dies cut out all the pieces. There are three different faces, and they are all adorable.

Rainbow Celebration Birthday Scrapbook Layout

I told you I’m having so much fun with some of the Sale-a-Bration items. Today I’m sharing this Rainbow Celebration Birthday Scrapbook Layout with you. This fabulous layout was cased from Jennifer Smith. I saw she used the Rainbow Celebration Kit in a whole new way and I LOVED it. I made a couple of small tweaks and I absolutely love how bright and cheery this 2 page layout is. These pages are ready to add the birthday pages and doing a little journaling to record the memories.

The dotted rainbow arches have been added with Dimensionals to the plain section of each card base on page 1. For page 2, I cut the rainbow card base in half, attaching the strip with Dimensionals between two arches.

“It’s Your Day” and Let’s Celebrate” strips from the kit are adhered to Basic Black. I attached them to the page with Dimensionals, but NOT on the photo area. Your photo will slide right under the greeting. “YAY” is also attached with Dimensionals. The page is finished with some Ombre Matte Dots for a little bling.

The new Starstruck Embossing Folder from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog was used on the cloud for a little texture. I adhered the “Happy Birthday” banner to Basic Black. Then it was added to the page with Dimensionals ONLY on the right side. A few more Ombre Matte Dots and these pages are ready to celebrate!!

MEASUREMENTS:
12″ x 12″ Basic White – 2 sheets
Basic Black — 4″ x 6″; 2 – 4″ x 4″; 2 – 5″ x 5″; 3 – 5/8″ x 2 3/4″
Basic White — 3 3/4″ x 5 3/4″; 2 – 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″; 2 – 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″

More Fun with Rainbow Celebration Kit

Today I’m having a little more fun with Rainbow Celebration Kit. This time I added the Darling Dinos stamp set for a fun birthday card. These little dinos are SO cute.

Darling Dinos Stamp Set, Rainbow Celebration Kit, Birthday, Sale-a-Bration, Stamp with Peggy

I cut the rainbow card on the score line, using the rainbow portion on the front of the card. Then I used the white side of the second half to stamp the dinos, balloons and greeting banner. It’s SO cute.
I cut off the bottom of the rainbow section, making it 3 3/4″ tall (save the cut off piece to decorate the inside of the card).

Measurements:
Thick Basic White — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Basic Black — 4″ x 5 1/4″; 3/4″ x 3″
Rainbow Celebration Card Base — cut in half on score line
Trim rainbow front to 3 3/4″ tall
Use plain half to stamp with Memento ink — before stamping cut off 1/2″ x 3″ piece for greeting, then stamp 2 dinos, 3 balloons, bow and birthday hat

1. Color dinos with Stampin’ Blends — Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Gray Granite and Lemon Lime Twist
2. Die cut pieces
3. Adhere Rainbow card front to Basic Black then to card base
4. Stamp balloon strips
5. Attach dinos and balloons with Dimensionals
6. Stamp greeting with Memento ink — angle trim ends
7. Adhere to Basic Black — angle trim ends
8. Attach greeting to card front with Dimensionals
9. Add Ombre Matte Decorative Dots
10. Add strip that was cut front rainbow front to the inside of card

I hope you enjoyed this card — don’t forget you can get the Rainbow Celebration Kit FREE when you place an order of $60.
