Hugs for Love with Bloom Impressions

Sale-a-Bration has so many wonderful items that you can choose FREE when you place an order. Today’s Hugs for Love with Bloom Impressions card uses the Bloom Impressions Designer Paper. This is a 12″ x 12″ paper filled with bright colors. As first look I didn’t really like it but once I started playing with it, there are so many possibilities. For this card, I pulled out the Hugs for Love Bundle, Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Basic White cardstocks and the FREE Sale-a-Bration Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins. This card works for many occasions — the greeting is Sending You a Big Hug.

I haven’t used Melon Mambo is a long time but the papers in the Spring Mini Catalog are using Melon Mambo quite a bit and I am loving the bright springy feeling of the brighter colors.

Melon Mambo — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Basic Black — 4″ x 5 1/4″; 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
Basic White — 2 – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″; 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
Bloom Impressions Designer Paper — 4 — 1 1 3/4″ x 2 3/8″

Happy Valentine Hershey Heart

I have a very fun Happy Valentine Hershey Heart to share today. I can honestly say I’ve fallen for the Cute as Can Bee Designer Paper and the Hearts of Elegance Dies. There are SO many fun heart and so many different sizes. It is definitely a MUST have die set. This is a very quick project to make — easy to cover all your loves for Valentine’s Day treats.

Isn’t this just the cutest!! I saw a couple online and had to make some. I created a small box for the Hershey bars, then adhered that to the heart. Happy Valentine’s Day was stamped with Petunia Pop ink on Basic White cardstock, then I fussy cut around it. I wrapped some of the Gold Twisted Thread around three fingers, then wrapped around the center of loops and adhered to back of the greeting. The greeting is attached with Dimensionals.

Measurements:

Petunia Pop — 5″ x 5″ (for heart)
Box — 2 1/2″ x 4 3/8″ — with 2 1/2″ edge at top — score at 3/4″
Turn — with 4 3/8″ edge at top — score at 3/8″, 1 1/8″, 2 3/8″, 3 1/8″
Basic White — 2″ x 2″; 1″ x 2″
Cute as Can Bee Designer Paper — 4 1/2″ 4 1/2″
Gold Twisted Thread — 12″

Cute as Can Bee Hugs & Kisses

Oh, how I have fallen in love with the Cute as Can Bee Designer Paper in the new Scrapbooking Brochure. Today I’m sharing this adorable Cute as Can Bee Hugs & Kisses card. This could be for Valentine’s Day, an Anniversary or even a Welcome Baby card. I am loving the Petunia Pop and Daffodil Delight color combo. It definitely makes me think of Spring, even if it is months away yet.



I started with the Petunia Pop card base, then a layer of Daffodil Delight. The Basic White layer is embossed with the new Sale-a-Bration Starstruck Embossing Folder — this is a great embossing folder. Don’t forget Sale-a-Bration means you can choose this embossing folder FREE when you place a $60 order. I tucked little pieces of the Cute as Can Bee Designer Paper across the center of the card front. No reason to waste a full strip of the designer paper under the Daffodil Delight layer, right. The little bees are fussy cut from the designer paper. I love that they are facing three different directions – one in the middle, then to the left and right.

Petunia Pop — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″; 2″ x 6″
Daffodil Delight — 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
Basic White — 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″; 7/8″ x 1 1/2″; 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic Black — 1″ x 1 5/8″
