I have a fun Frames & Flowers Hooray It’s Your Day card to share with you today using the gorgeous Frames & Flowers Designer Paper and OH MY GOODNESS — this is a must have paper pack.  This paper pack is loaded with fun die cuts, designer paper frames and three beautiful sheets of designer paper.

 

Frames & Flowers Designer Paper, Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Dies, Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems, Birthday, Stamp with Peggy

 

measurements:

Pretty Peacock — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″; 2″ x 4″
Basic White — 2 pieces — 4″ x 5 1/4″; 2″ x 2″
Lost Lagoon — 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
Frames & Flowers Designer Paper — 1 7/8″ x 4″
Die Cuts from the Designer Paper

instructions:
  1. Fold Pretty Peacock on score line
  2. Emboss one 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White with Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder — adhere to card front — adhere second Basic White inside card
  3. Adhere designer paper to 2″ x 4″ Pretty Peacock, then to card front
  4. Die cut Lost Lagoon with largest Stylish Shape Die
  5. Adhere leaf stems to circle — Dimensionals on the piece with flowers
  6. Attach circle to card front with Dimensionals
  7. Die cut 2″ x 2″ Basic White with Stylish Shapes Die (approx. 1 3/4″)
  8. Stamp greeting from Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set with Pretty Peacock ink
  9. Adhere to card front tucking under larger circle
  10. Add Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems

 

Don’t forget to try different combinations of the designer paper frames, die cuts, and sentiments to make your card uniquely yours. And don’t forget to celebrate your creative journey—it’s like a mini retreat with paper crafting!

Stack & Shuffle Take to the Sky

I love using designer papers as the showcase on cards and this Stack & Shuffle Take to the Sky card shows off the Take to the Sky Designer Paper and the Adventurous Sky Stamp Set.

To do this technique — stack to coordinating pieces of Designer Papers (3 3/4″ x 5″) and cut them diagonally corner to corner (see template).  Then adhere the “A” pieces to a coordinating cardstock (4″ x 5 1/4″) and the “B” pieces to a different coordinating color.

I love how these cards turned out and there are so many different looks when you use other designer papers.

 

Adventurous Sky Stamp Set, Take to the Sky Designer Paper, Stack & Shuffle, Masculine, Stamp with Peggy

Measurements:

Take to the Sky Designer Paper — Navy Checked and Gray Plaid — 3 3/4″ x 5″ — cut per template (use for both cards
Right Card:
Night of Navy — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″; 2 1/2″ x 3″
Smoky Slate — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White — 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″; 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside)
Left Card:
Smoky Slate — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″; 2 1/2″ x 3″
Night of Navy — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White — 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″; 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside)

instructions:
  1. Fold card bases on score line
  2. Adhere 4″ x 5 1/4″ Smoky Slate or Night of Navy to card base
  3. Adhere cut designer paper pieces to card front (see template for cutting and placement
  4. Stamp greeting and airplane with Night of Navy ink
  5. Use Blender Pen to pull some of the Night of Navy ink and lightly color ink the center of the airplane
  6. Adhere to 2 1/2″ x 3″ Night of Navy or Smoky Slate
  7. Attach to card front with Dimensionals
  8. Add Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls
  9. Adhere 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White inside each card
