I’m having so much fun with the Playful Ghosts Stamp Set that I have another fun Playful Ghosts Iconic Celebrations card for you today.  This time my card uses the double pumpkin stamp with the Happy Halloween stamp and the fabulous Iconic Celebrations Designer Paper.

  • Cajun Craze: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” – score at 4 1/4”; 1 1/4″ x 3”
  • Mossy Meadow: 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″; 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”
  • Basic White: 3 1/4” x 4 1/4”; 3 5/8” x 4 7/8”; 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″; 1 1/4″ x 3”
  • Iconic Celebrations Designer Paper: 3” x 3” each print

Happy Halloween Playful Ghost

Tuesday I shared the adorable project from my Monday Night FB Live and today I want to share this fun Happy Halloween Playful Ghost card.  Isn’t is adorable?  This card was created for a card tutorial group I belong to and I thought the timing of this card was perfect.

 

Playful Ghosts Stamp Set, Neutrals 6" x 6" Designer Paper, Everyday Details Dies, Baker's Twine Essentials, Halloween, Stamp with Peggy

The tutorial says the Designer Paper is from the Neutrals Assorted Pack, but this print is from a retired paper pack but you can definitely use this year’s Neutrals Designer Paper — the striped or the dotted would be adorable.  I think I’ll be making a couple of this card.

Measurements:

  • Pumpkin Pie: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • Basic Black: 3-3/4” x 5”, 2-5/8” x 4-1/8”, scrap
  • Pumpkin Pie: 2-3/8” x 3-7/8”
  • Basic White: 3” x 4-1/2”, scrap for sentiment
  • DSP: 3-1/2” x 4-3/4”
  • Twine: 14”

Instructions:

  1. Fold Pumpkin Pie card base on score line
  2. Adhere DSP to Basic Black then onto Pumpkin Pie card base
  3. Die cut 3” x 4 1/2″ Basic White with largest rectangle in Everyday Details Dies
  4. Stamp ghost scene with Basic Gray onto Basic White
  5. Stamp bats with StazOn ink
  6. Stamp greeting on Basic White scrap
  7. Color ghost scene with Stampin’ Blends – Light Pool Party to outline the ghost to give him dimension. Color pumpkin stem with Crumb Cake, pumpkin with Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight
  8. Lightly brush Wink of Stella over ghost to give a shimmer
  9. Adhere to Pumpkin Pie cardstock then to Basic Black
  10. Attach to card front with Dimensionals
  11. Trim Happy Halloween sentiment then adhere to Basic Black scrap and trim
  12. Attach to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals
  13. Fold twine in half and tie small bow – trim ends
  14. Attach above greeting with a Mini Glue Dot
  15. Color three Basic Rhinestone Jewels with Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend
  16. Add to card front

Loveliest Tree Missing Middle Sympathy Card

Today I’m sharing this beautiful Loveliest Tree Missing Middle Sympathy Card that my sister designed for a Demo Event we held back in June.  The Loveliest Tree Stamp Set has a Fall feel to it and as the weather is beginning to change a bit and school is starting, I’m getting into the Fall mood with card making.  Tina did a fabulous job with this missing middle card, the card opens from the right to the left which leaves the Basic White layer to write your message.  The missing middle section allows the stamped greeting to peek over the tree layers.  I think the card gives a very calm feeling that I hope the recipient feels.

The card base is Moody Mauve and the front side panels are embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
If you haven’t made a missing middle card yet, you have to give it a try.  There are so many possibilities with this layout.
