Excellent Eggs One Sheet Wonder

I needed to send out some Easter cards quickly, I used this Excellent Eggs One Sheet Wonder to swiftly create seven cards. This template, created by my sister Tina Rappe for our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat a few years ago, proved perfect for the occasion. I selected a piece of A Little Latte Designer Paper, cut it to 8 1/2′ x 11″ and then followed the template to cut the pieces for each card.

I chose cardstock by the colors in the designer paper.

The first square in the template is 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″, then cut diagonally for Card #1 and #2
Pecan Pie — cut a 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ square, then cut that diagonally — one piece is used for each card.
Then I cut a 3″ x 3″ square of Pecan Pie, cut that diagonally and used one piece for each card.
Calypso Coral square is 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ and Basic White 2″ x 2″

For the first two cards, I die cut three different colors of egg, then I intermixed the pieces for Card # & #2.
Petal Pink square is 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ and Basic White is 2″ x 2″.

The third card uses a 1 3/4″ x 4″ piece of designer paper, then 3 5/8″ x 4″ Calypso Coral and 3 1/2″ x 3 7/8″ Basic White added.

The bunnies and greeting are stamped on 2″ x 3 1/2″ Basic White, mounted on 2 1/8″ x 3 5/8″ Petal Pink, and 2 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ Pecan Pie

Card #5 uses the 4″ x 4″ piece of Designer Paper. I added a 1 3/4″ x 4″ Pecan Pie piece that is embossed with the Fun Patterns Embossing Folder (daisy) to add a little texture to the card.

It was time for a colorful Easter egg on Card #6. I love the stitched marks around the egg.

The final card uses three 1 1/2″ x 3″ pieces of designer paper adhered to Pecan Pie, then Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, then to a Petal Pink card base.

Cabin Fever 2024

This past Saturday was my Cabin Fever 2024. A Mini Day Retreat with Spring projects is refreshing, especially after a snowy day on Friday. We were happy to say goodbye to Winter and welcome to Spring. Everyone was greeted with a 12″ x 12″ plastic storage tote decorated with Perennial Lavender Designer Paper and a name tag made using the Tailor Made Tags Dies, and the Painted Lavender Stamp Set. Their project kits for the day were tucked safely inside the box.

Everyone is set up at their stations ready to create all day long.

We even had a 4 year old stamping with us this year. Miss Blakely joined Grammy Sandi and did a great job staying occupied for the day.

Our first project of the day was this fabulous set of 10 cards featuring the Sweet Thoughts Memory & More Card Pack and Cards & Envelopes.
Everyone received half a package of each and they had left over Memory & More cards to use for other projects.

For card #1, I cut apart two of the Memory & Card cards creating designer paper pieces that are adhered to Basic Black and then to the card front.
The greeting, butterfly and flower are from the sticker sheets in the card pack. Everyone received a package of Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to add a little bling to their cards.

More greeting stickers on this card and the banners are cut from leftover card pieces.

This colorful butterfly was fussy cut from a 4″ x 6″ card and attached to a layer of Calypso Coral that has been embossed with the new Fun Patterns Embossing Folder — this folder is lots of daisies and is so adorable. It is a MUST have set of Embossing Folder.

I love this tri-fold card. Looks normal on the front but when you open it.

Another Memory & More Card is attached inside along with pretty copper strip stickers.

This sweet Enjoy the Memories card is a 4″ x 6″ card this is cut down a little and adhered to Basic Black. The original card base is scored a second time at 2 1/8″ to create an easel card.

I added two copper flower stickers with Dimensionals to create the stoppers for the easel.

This Z-Fold card is so bright and colorful. It makes me smile just looking at it.

The greeting panel is hiding inside, just under the front greeting.

Card #7 is such a cute card — very quick & easy but so stunning. The Calypso Coral panel is embossed with the Fun Patterns Daisy Embossing Folder so add some fun texture.

Another butterfly definitely says we are ready for Spring.

Card #9 is a fun interlocking card. The black newsprint panel slides under the sunshine card to lock the card front shut. We fussy cut butterflies from a leftover card piece and adhered them to the front and inside of the card to add some extra color to this sunshine card.

The final card is a barn door fold where the top half of the card base is cut off to show a white layer behind the card mat. This is such a soft, sweet card to send to anyone on your list.

No Bunny Like You Treat

Last weekend I attended Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage Convention and gave away a few of these adorable No Bunny Like You Treat Holders. One of the big things at Stampin’ Up! events is swapping cards and projects with other demonstrators. Saturday night I attended a Craftermath Party with lots of entertainment and crafting. We made table gifts for the other 5 people at our table — it’s always so much fun. I figured everyone loves Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups so why not make a box for a peanut butter egg just in time for Easter.

I used the Excellent Egg Stamp Set and Dies with the A Little Latte Designer Paper (which is perfect for Easter).

When the box is opened, there is a Happy Easter label ready for a little message and your name.
The finished box is 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ so it is big enough for lots of different treats or little gifts for Easter.
Who wouldn’t want to receive this fun box.

Calypso Coral — 4 3/4″ x 9 1/2″ — with 4 3/4″ edge at top — score at 1″, 3 3/4″ — turn — with 9 1/2″ edge at top – score at 1″, 4 3/4″, 5 3/4″
2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″; 5/8″ x 2 1/4″
Pecan Pie — 2 5/8″ x 3 5/8″
A Little Latte Designer Paper — 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
Petal Pink — 2″ x 2″; 2 1/2″ x 3″
Basic White — 2″ x 2″; 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″; 1/2″ x 2″
